BUYER BEWARE: Avoid Elixir Motors if You're in Pompano Beach area! My son helped open this used car dealership around June of this year. This establishment is owned an operated by Obaida, who is currently being sued by 22 people by the Utah DMV Enforcement Department for defrauding customers with fake warranties. I AM WARNING ALL NEW CAR SHOPPERS! My son witnessed Obaida conduct many underhanded, devious, and illegal tactics to sell cars. As you can imagine, my son no longer works there but asked me to help warn people in the area. As retribution for him leaving, Obaida is refusing to compensate him for the three months he worked there without pay. This shows what type of individual you will be dealing with should you chose to buy a car from here. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! If you wish to look up this operator, his previous dealership in Utah was Jet Car Automotive (8400 S State St, Midvale, UT 84047-3637). Due to the ongoing investigation, you cannot even verify their license, so I wonder how he got a license to operate his dealership in Florida? On a separate note, his old BBB profile shows a rating of C+. You can read the unresolved complaints on the BBB website. Regarding Mr.Obaida's response, he is clearly reacting to very factual allegations by slandering my son. When the buyers look into your business, they will be made aware of what type of business you run. If in fact what you claim to be true, why did you keep employing him? Is that why you did not pay him for 3 months of work?
