I brought my 2024 q5 to Audi Hawthorne for routine service, including oil change. Always have a good experience with AJ as my service person. John, the service tech sent me a video of a multi-point inspection of my car while I waited. Although it wasn’t too long of a wait, the lounge area was comfortable and bright with beverages and snacks.

The Audi dealership is very nice. Leo was very kind and helpful, although we are still having problems with the myAudi app.

This is the first time I’ve ever felt I needed to leave a review on a business. Everyone makes mistakes but this is something I can’t let slide. In early October of last year, I went to Audi Hawthorne to purchase a used Allroad. I had called in a week prior and spoke with Leo, who is very helpful and kind. I knew I wanted an Allroad and the spec was perfect to me, so I put down a $2,500 refundable deposit. A week later I test drove the car, and decided to buy it, trading in my current vehicle. I was preapproved with my bank for an auto loan so I went into the business office, expecting things to go smooth smoothly. When applying the loan to my purchase, Abdullah, the business manager, noted that Wells Fargo was offering a somewhat better rate - which was true. When finalizing things I explicitly told Abdullah that I wanted no additional protection or warrenty. I go through the signing of the papers and I don’t see anything that stands out… but then my total bill is $2,500 higher than it should be. Abdullah explains that he had just forgot to credit the down payment I had paid through Leo and that he would have that corrected and have the final paperwork scanned and emailed out to me. No harm no foul I thought. Sure enough, I get the paperwork a day later and the $2,500 is still added on. I look through the final package they sent me and I see that he had added $2,500 in tire and wheel protection as well as key replacement protection. I called in and never heard back. So I email Abdulellah. He later says in an email that he explained to me that the coverage was added and that I accepted it (not true) and that Wells Fargo actually required that these purchases be included to get the lower rate. He says this to me the day after I receive the loan terms from Wells Fargo that explicitly say, those additional purchases are entirely optional and are not a basis for qualification for the loan. He lied. I asked Abdullah that he correct this, cancel the coverages and refund me my money and then it’s radio silence from him. I try multiple times to reach out and never get a response to my emails. I can’t call to speak with him because I can’t trust him to say the truth and I wanted to make sure I get everything in writing. In late December, I had had enough after about 6 weeks no responses. I spoke with a representative I know at the DMV and they suggested I file a complaint against him and the dealership. I wrote him one last email saying I was going to do so, and sure enough he responds quickly saying it was being handled right away and the coverage would be removed. He said a check would be mailed out to Wells Fargo as a refund in about 2 weeks. A month goes by with no check so I reach out. No response. 6 weeks go by, no response. Two months no response and no check. By this point I paid off the car in full. Three months and I’m still out 2.5k and no idea where or if this check exists. I continue to try and communicate with Abdullah but never receive a response again. I then get a call from the nicest lady, Sandy, who works for the auto group. She explains to me that the business office at Audi Hawthorne had also titled my car to the wrong state so I had to fill out new paperwork and work with her to contact the DMVs of NY and CT to have this corrected. I’m finally speaking with someone associated to the dealership so I explained to her what has happened and she agrees that this whole situation is absolutely outrageous - then offers to fix things! In one day, Sandy gets on the phone corrects my title and begins to hunt down the check. She finds out that it eventually had been mailed, but to the WRONG BANK! Within a week, Sandy is in possession of the check and has it overnighted to me. SEVEN MONTHS LATER. I can never recommend to anyone to purchase a car from Audi Hawthorne, especially if they need of financing. Only due to the total lack of competence, the dishonesty and lack of moral responsibility from Abdullah

Taking my dad to purchase a new car is stressful enough, but Leo made the entire process incredibly easy. He was understanding and accommodating when my schedule didn’t align with his, which I truly appreciated. Audi is very lucky to have an asset like Leo on their team and should make sure he is recognized for his outstanding customer service and professionalism.

I generally hate car shopping, but buying a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Audi Q5 from Leo and the team at Audi Hawthorne changed my perspective entirely. Their patience, knowledge, and customer service were all 10/10. As a NJ resident, I was also impressed by how seamlessly they handled the out-of-state registration and tax—it was much easier than I expected; it was no different than buy from an NJ dealership. I’m thrilled with the S line 45 engine and the overall value I found with this group. If you're looking for an honest used car experience in the tri-state area, this is the place.

I was a loyal customer and leased two Audis from this dealership. The first impression was great, but over time the experience steadily declined. The service department repeatedly missed issues during inspections, which led to multiple unnecessary visits where I had to demonstrate the problem before it was addressed. During one inspection, they even missed a nail in a tire while assuring me the vehicle was in excellent condition. On my last lease, there was a $2,000 overcharge on the paperwork at signing. I had to catch the error myself and insist it be corrected. They also added a key insurance fee to the bill without properly disclosing it, which I had to point out and have removed. I raised all of these concerns with Ken Strong, the general manager. Unfortunately, he was unresponsive when I reached out with questions about leasing a new vehicle. After being ignored repeatedly, I became so frustrated that I turned in my lease early, absorbed the financial penalty, and purchased a BMW instead. I would strongly advise others to think twice before doing business here. The overall experience felt more like a stereotypical 1970s used car lot commercial than a modern luxury dealership.

Very disappointed with Audi of Hawthorn after being a loyal customer for 9 years. I paid $1,600 for an annual service and inspection in November 2025 and was told my car was in great condition. Immediately after the service, a new noise appeared. I brought the car back and was told nothing was wrong. Two weeks later, I returned again and was told the drive axle boot was broken and would cost $3,500 to fix. I got a second opinion from a trusted mechanic, who confirmed: The axle boot damage was recent and should have been caught during the inspection The oil was very low and dirty (despite being charged for an oil change) The cowl panel was loose, causing the noise Filters and brake fluid still needed replacement Bottom line: I was charged for services that were not properly done, and I was falsely assured my car was fine. This is a serious safety concern. I’ve lost all trust and will never return.

Please stay away!! From a falsely advertised S4 and not working on the price when called out, to stripping the license plate bracket and trying to replace it with a rusty used one a month later, to not having the car registered for almost if not 2 months, to trying to convince me to drive the car unregistered with a “official dealership letter to show police” to selling a car with a bad waterpump, to refusing to allow purchase of the car without “Nitrofill.” This dealership is a disgrace to the Audi legacy. Take the reviews seriously unlike I did. Please. Save yourself the biggest headache purchasing a vehicle you’ve ever had.

I purchased a Used 2018 Jeep Wrangler that they had on their lot, Leo the sales person lied to me on what he would get back for me. The entire department there never returns phone calls. Also, when I purchased the Jeep, I almost had an accident, they never fixed the issue w/the Jeep when it was sold to them. The Power steering turned off while I was driving on the highway, all the lights on the Dash board came on, I returned the Jeep with in the 30 days so they can fix the issue, but they never did. Also, the Right passenger power mirror did not work, they claimed they purchased a new motor, but that was not the case. It is still broken. Audi dealership in Hawthorne, NY is a a crappy company, that does not honor their customers. They rip them off for the little money that's owed to the customer. I wanted to transfer my Veteran CT plates to the Jeep and they shook me down for $495 for tag registration in CT, The tags cost $132 to transfer, they were supposed to refund me $371, what they gave me was $68. Not a friendly dealership, no return calls, no consistency! If I can give them zero stars I would.
