Worst experience ever trying to buy a used vehicle. Called to say I was on my way to buy the vehicle. Was told I was pre approved and it would only take about an hour to do the deal. Drove over 2 hours to get there. After test drive. I handed over a down payment of $18k. Then shortly after was informed I wasn’t going to be able to take the vehicle home and would have to wait a day and go back. After telling them I wanted my money back. I was told no the office people were now gone for the day and there wasn’t anyone to get the check from the safe. Then I was told they could deliver the vehicle to me in the morning. I informed them that it wasn’t going to work. The vehicle was going to be needed in the morning. Was again told the I wasn’t going to be able to take it home and we could get all the paperwork done so it was set for morning. I was going to give them a chance on it. The salesman said the holdup was the loan place verifying my income. 2 hours later I kept being told that they were finishing up the paperwork and printing it out. Another 1/2 hour and they were almost done getting the paperwork ready. Another 20 minutes and the salesman says. Just a few more minutes. At that time I let him know I was xxxxxx and that there was no reason for it to take that long and I had enough. They get me in the office with the financial guy and he is going over things and informs me that the employment was verified and that now I wasn’t able to bring it home because it needed an emissions inspection and that couldn’t be done till morning. I asked about what kind of warranty came with it and was told I had to buy an extended warranty to proceed. I refused the warranty and said I wanted my check back I was no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle. Was told I would have to wait till the following morning to get the check back. After expressing that I would call the cops to have some arrested for grand larceny. They decided someone could get me my money. After getting the check from the office. They decided after all the excuses that I could bring the vehicle home if I wanted to. Yeah. In the end after finance charges it would had been about $38,000 very deceptive and shady way of doing business.

Don't buy from this dealer. When the car has problems, even with a warranty, they don't fix anything. I only drove 1,000 miles.

I recently visited New Millennium Auto Sales and unfortunately experienced several concerning business practices that I feel the public should know about before doing business there. When I began the purchase process for a vehicle, I noticed multiple red flags. The staff became frustrated when I asked for the second key that should come with the car, and I was asked to sign a blank purchase order that they said would be filled out later. That is not acceptable, as any legitimate dealership should provide a complete and accurate contract before asking for a signature. I also pointed out that, under Connecticut’s new law effective October 1, 2025, certain optional dealer fees are not mandatory, yet I was told I had to pay them. Additionally, the dealership did not disclose that the vehicle had been in an accident, even though I later verified it on the CarFax report. Under Conn. Agencies Regs. § 42-110b-28, dealers are required to clearly disclose any prior accidents or damage. When I raised these issues calmly and professionally, the staff’s demeanor changed and they became noticeably irritated. I left feeling pressured and misled, which is disappointing from a Connecticut-licensed dealership. I encourage anyone considering purchasing from New Millennium Auto Sales to review all paperwork carefully, run your own CarFax report, and know your rights under Connecticut law before signing anything. Transparency and honesty should be the standard in auto sales, and consumers deserve better than the experience I had here even if your credit is A+ or D-. Bad Credit shouldnt be the reason you try to get over on someone.

As crooked as a 3 dollar bill. Keep a careful eye on exactly what they write in your contract. When they say it's "close enough" or "it doesn't have to be exact", you know they are acting extremely specific and intentional. All the "close enough" numbers will all work out in their favor.... odometer, sales price, tax, especially trade-in, and DEFINITELY the pay-off amount of any loan you might have. Looking back at all the numbers and notes, not a single set of numbers matched, not one. The salesman stripped all the screws that hold the license plate, when I ask for a folder they didn't have one so he went and got a very old, very used and worn out manilla folder that was prob taken from the garbage can. Anything they need to "go check on" will take all day, so you're left triddling your thumbs literally all day (6-8 hours, both times, for me), with no amenities whatsoever, even the bathroom was locked. After this experience, I wouldn't buy a pencil from them.

Went to Stephen Automall in Bristol, Ct and received a professional buying experience meeting with Mike Collins the sales professional. He really knew his stuff. Thank goodness it was a great experience at Stephen Cadillac because the previous dealership I visited wasted 2 ½ hours of my time and never to date bothered to follow up by phone or text about the Cadillac XT5 I was interested in. Mike at Stephen Cadillac was the opposite and followed up by text and phone quickly at least 6 times answering all my questions. The delivery process went smoothly and on time. The car was in the showroom when I arrived and created a caring atmosphere for delivery as well as a delivery coordinator to go over all the functions on the Cadillac. If you are looking for a car or truck I highly recommend you call and set up an appointment with Mike.

Awesome experience with Jason Rivera. Fast, responsive, kind, and knowledgable. We were working in a funky timeline and Jason was patient and understanding as we muddled through. Highly recommend Jason for a no-pressure but no-nonsense experience. Very efficient and positive!

UTTER WASTE OF TIME After calling to let them know that I was on my way, I test drove the vehicle that I was looking to purchase only to be told at the end of the test drive that a deposit has been made by another customer. You figured while I was traveling within that hour and hlf to the dealership that they would tell me this. No consideration and no courtesy to tell me on the way that a deposit has been made on the vehicle. I should have listened to the previous comments MADE about this dealership and yes, I will add and say to avoid this dealership like the plague. pathetic.

Service dept, was great with setting up appointment that I asked for. Brought truck in and was greeted and truck was taken in for service. Truck was serviced and returned in a good amount of time. And the doors were lubed, to quiet them while opening or closing the door.
