Reviews
Write a reviewI had a very disappointing experience with Modesto Motors. The communication was completely different outside of speaking with them in person. When I was physically at the dealership, the salesperson/owner was responsive and willing to talk, but once I left, getting clear answers or a response became extremely difficult. They ran my credit for a vehicle, but after I was denied financing, communication basically stopped. I reached out multiple times trying to get details about the vehicle and my application, and I still could not get the information I was asking for. What bothered me even more was finding out the vehicle had damage on the side that was not disclosed to me upfront. From my perspective, that information was withheld until later, and I absolutely would have wanted to know about visible damage before allowing my credit to be run or seriously considering purchasing the vehicle. If a dealership is going to collect your personal information and run your credit, I believe they should be transparent about the condition of the vehicle and communicate professionally throughout the entire process—not only when you're standing in front of them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Modesto Motors. I would strongly suggest getting the vehicle history, condition, price, financing terms, and any known damage in writing before allowing them to run your credit.
