i had an unforeseen problem with my toyota highlander recently. i called della toyota in plattsburgh, NY and they told me to come right down for the minor... repair. while it was only replacing broken wipers they are a necessity here in the north country. wiper blades were replaced quickly and to my satisfaction.

He showed me the exact cars I inquired about, answered every question, returned all... my phone calls, handled extra insurance issues, breezed us through the paperwork, and accepted me without question when I showed up 1 hour early for an appointment! Jordan Lafave was the service associate when I arrived over an hour early for my regular service appointment. It was stormy/sleeting out and I live close... to the dealership so I thought maybe I could get in early. I did. Service was great.

I?m very pleased with the Warranty repair. Was pleasantly surprised that the service was going to be covered under warranty. The experience at the service... shop was a little to be desired. Not really impressed with the Plattsburg Della dealership again. First bad time was buying a Highlander where I eventually went somewhere else to purchase and this time it was the service department. I?m not one to write reviews, but when two not so great experiences happen, it?s time. I had an appointment for a torque converter repair scheduled on Thursday, November 7th. I was told that it was about a 6 hour repair job. I was going out of town so I dropped off the Camry on Tuesday,November 5th. I left town for 4 days and returned on Monday the 11th. I was busy for the next two days and didn?t get around to picking up the Camry until Wednesday the 13th. Mind you, I live 30 minutes away from the dealership. I arrive at the dealership that afternoon at 4:30pm. I ask about my vehicle and tell them that I dropped it off a week ago for a torque repair. The clerk at the counter can?t find my keys. He asks me who waited on me when i dropped it off and i told a young lady and that it was a week ago. I?m thinking inside, it was a week ago......why should it matter who i left the keys with? anyway, numerous clerks begin to look for my keys an invoice. This goes on for minutes. I go outside to look for my vehicle in the parking lot and its not there. I walk around the side of the building and then into the garage area and there?s my Camry inside the garage up on the lift. I dropped my Camry off over 7 days ago and it?s still on the lift. To make a long story short, they ordered the wrong part and my vehicle spent a week on the lift waiting to be repaired. Nobody called me to let me know there would be a delay. We?re talking a 6 hours repair job that turned into 9 days. So to refresh, I had an appointment for November 7th, my vehicle was ready for pickup on November 15th. I picked it up on November 16th. No phone call in between that time to let me know there would be any sort of delay. I won?t go into the experience of attempting to purchase our most recent vehicle with this dealership because I?ve already taken up too much of your time.
