Scheduled a test drive for a Civic Si. These are rare stock, so I was excited to actually drive one, possibly make a deal. Reiterated that I was interested in test driving and was assured it is ready to be driven when I scheduled the appointment. Walk in and the car is on the floor. I ask about it, there's no record of my appointment. I asked if the car was even available to be driven. I walked over when the sales person was to talk with whom I assume was the floor manager. They said they needed to write up a deal before I test drove it. Reason being the car is marked up $7500 due to scarcity. They didn't even ask if I was willing to pay it, they just refused to let me drive it. This happened a few years ago when my mother was looking to lease a car. They wouldn't even let her drive a Civic LX because "why drive something you know you can't afford?" I thought that we might have gotten a bad salesman back then. Guess I was wrong. I will never set foot in this dealership again. Incredible level of disrespect. The floor manager wouldn't even look me in the face.

Cody a guy who works there told me 400-500 dollars to fix my car then he charged 669 and denied that he told me 500. Then before that they made me buy 200 dollars worst parts but could fix the problem.Don’t go to lamacchia Honda they charge unnecessary and has the worst service so far.
Lamacchia Honda has the worst service
This place had the worst service. My car had some rattling noise. First they made me buy 200 dollars of part but couldn’t fix it. Then they(Cody a guy who works there)told me to fix it would be 400-500 dollars.Then I went to pick my car up he denied that he told me 500. Then he couldn’t even explain properly and you could say he was charging unnecessary and overprice.
Lamacchia Honda scammed me
Lamacchia Honda is the place Nightmares come from. This dealership is a perfect example of Why people do not trust car dealers. I can tell you with All honesty that these people are as dishonest as the days in the month of June are long. My experience is this. I purchased a brand new car a few years back off the showroom floor. In my contract it stated that as long as I was the original owner I would receive "Free inspections for life" I was even given a plastic key tag that stated this. Well, I bring my car down for an inspection and go to pick up my car and they charged me $21. When I asked to speak to AJ the service manager he comes on the phone and starts to verbally attack me and says they will no longer honor this and starts yelling at me how cheap I am and they are making no money. Disgusting behavior. This is nothing!! My car failed the inspection also because they said I had a leaking left caliper. So, realizing I was Never again going to use Lamacchia's service, I decided to bring my car the next day (needed an inspection) to a registered repair shop. I dropped the car off and an hour later the mechanic calls me and tells me that there was absolutely NO leak in the caliper. BAM, Lamacchia tried to rip me off. Worse was the fact they failed the inspection and charged me $21 when they have a guaranteed free inspection for original owners who bought their car from them. This dealership is the most dishonest business I've ever encountered in my life. A completely scam business on every level
So far, I'm very happy
I had a good experience with salesman Abdullah Albadri -- just bought a Honda Insight and took it home today. He was thorough, attentive, and fun to work with. I haven't yet experienced the service department, as I've had Toyotas for many years.

Everything that could have gone wrong with this transaction did. First car I wanted to look at, that appeared to be available - we could not find in the lots. Turns out it was sold and no one at the dealership had marked it as such. Test drove the next car. It was pricier than what I had originally wanted but I fell in love with it! Willing to buy it. Two days anger.. turns out the car that I test drove, put a deposit on and signed papers for was sold the previous weekend. Offered me the same car with more miles - but the same price? Get some money off, although not as much as a I wanted. Okay everything’s squared away with this car. Pick up day - car is not ready. Written on paper that I signed, I was supposed to have roof rails installed. When I arrived I noticed they were not installed. Happy with the CR-V overall but if you want a Honda you may as well just go to the actual Honda dealership. My dealer did everything he could for me and I appreciate his help so much, but lamacchia as a whole is not worth the time and stress.

Looked at a CRV on a Friday in the rain. Drove nice and decided to purchase. Was told the earliest I could pick up was Wednesday of the next week. I arrived at my scheduled time and my vehicle was not ready to be picked up. When it was ready the detailing done was sub par and I noticed several scratches that weren’t able to be seen in the rain. I asked for this to be rectified and they had me wait two more hours. When they claimed it was done it didn’t look any better. The sales woman told me that they don’t have the best lighting in the area that it was detailed so that is why they didn’t notice the scratches!! I was told it was a used car and would have to deal with it. A 2 year old car with 12,000 miles on it should not be sold in this condition for top shelf price. At that point all the paperwork had been signed prior to seeing the vehicle “detailed.” Against my better judgement I took the vehicle home. I will not return to this dealership due to the customer service as well as the condition of the dealership. The service department looked like there had been no updates since the 1970’s.

Can't say how pleased I was with my purchase from the folks at Lamacchia Honda in Syracuse! Was looking for a Honda Civic in excellent condition, and after doing the research, found Lamacchia had exactly what I was looking for, as well as a few other dealerships further out from us. After going to a couple others that had a lower price but not as good car, we came to Lamacchia. Abdullah came right up and was very helpful in answering questions and guiding us to the right selection. Test drive went well, and finally went to the negotiating table. The car was great but the price was more than what others further out were offering. Abdullah was exactly the sales rep we were looking for- he was all about getting to the "yes", a deal that would get us to making the purchase. He negotiated on the price, threw in fresh tires and was still below market value for a car in excellent condition! If you get the chance to go in, ask Abdullah about where he has been - the guy definitely has a story to tell and puts in the effort to get me exactly what I wanted! Car runs great, exactly as advertised, and since it was a used (leased) car that came from their shop, I learned they put in the effort to ensure the car represents them as a business. Couldn't be happier, thanks again.
Excellent sales experience
Working with Owen Delay was an excellent experience! Owen was helpful right from the start and took the time to find the right vehicle for me. He went out of his way to walk through all of the features of the car and made sure that I was comfortable in the new ride before leaving. His customer service was no hassle and non-pushy. Owen was down to Earth and took care of everything. He even made sure the car buying experience was fun and exciting for the whole family.
