Jamie, Matt& Hunter are great, terrific communication, fast service. Only complaint would be the cost of initial diagnostic, understand the time involved but cost has doubled. Other than that will go back for excellent experience and service

We had scheduled an appointment to see a vehicle here. Upon arriving, another couple was test driving the car, despite us having made an appointment. After saying we wanted to buy the car, the dealership low-balled our trade in by $6,200 (Kelly Blue Book said the car was worth $8,200 for a fair trade in value; they offered us $2,000). We spent an hour haggling over the trade in value, and then the manager came back and said that the vehicle has been sold to the other couple who was test driving the car when we arrived. If they had not low-balled us so egregiously on our trade in, we would have been able to purchase the vehicle; however, this dealership was stringing along two different parties at once to sell the same vehicle to, which seems like a very slimy practice, seeing that one party was never going to be able to actually purchase the vehicle if the other party purchased it.

To say this was the worst experience as a paying customer
To say this was the worst experience as a paying customer of over 5 years would be an understatement. My family and I have boughten 3 cars from Basil Toyota, but this recent experience with attempting to get only an oil change was very disappointing to say the least. The sales women told me I needed a brake oil flush, which is something not common until a car needs new brakes ( mind you my car is only 3 years old). Being charged for something when it was not needed for the car was very sad to hear a dealership would do this to their customer. When we tried to cancel this portion they claimed they had already finished the job, mind you this was 20 minutes into dropping the car off when stated it would take an hour and half to complete? On top of that, they stated the payment would be a specific cost and had me sign for it. Come to our bill and they charged well over the stated price. Then to receive the car without having the clarification sticker showing that there was an oil change, we had to go back and confirm they did the job. They did not apologize for any of the inconvenience and over pricing for a job that did not need to be done. This dealership has lost 3 paying customers, that I’m sure will rise after spreading this information to other paying customers. Such a bad experience and we will never come Basil Toyota of Lockport ever again.
