This was the easiest car purchase that I have made. Theresa provided me with all the information that I needed re. prices and options before our appointment. She was able to answer all my questions and gave me excellent advice on options and extras like extended warranty, etc. I highly recommend her.

Cody Barkley is a knowledgable sales professional who enhanced our experience at this dealership. I would do business with Cody and Van Bortel anytime. He can be relied on for direct conversation, honest opinions, and followup before and after the sale. He contacted us several months after our purchase asking if there were any items he could of assistance with. Cody Barkey made what can be a difficult transaction a pleasure. He was friendly, prompt, efficient, unhurried, knowledgable. He answered all our questions and anticipated those we had not thought of and answered those. He had to work with our awkward travel schedule for delivery of a car with the options we wanted, and that all went smoothly. Sue answered all our questions and didn’t waste any time. We pretty much knew what we wanted but there was not one on site. Sue quickly found one coming in and made it happen. The whole experience was very professional and never did we think anyone was trying to sell us something we didn’t want. The staff assisting us during the actual purchase and pick were excellent as well.

It was a pleasure working with Cody at Subaru. The environment was calm (vs hectic at other dealerships) and clean. There was no pressure to buy and Cody was very patient while we talked through several different options. I would go there again!

This is the second car I have purchased from Theresa - Both experiences were excellent as she was patient with me through my questions (my old car was 12 years old so I was curious about all the new technology). I love all the Eyesight safety features of my new Crosstrek. I love that VanBortel has a no dicker sticker policy, Theresa explained the cost and inevitable fees so there were no surprises when I picked up my new car the next day. Great service when buying a new car: dedicated team (thank you Ashley and Susanne!) to make the choosing the right car and then trying it out process smooth and fast, all questions answered to complete satisfaction (they will call an expert if they don't know the answer), cars are priced fairly and the business offers financing help with acceptable interest rates; overall a very pleasant experience, I strongly recommend Van Bortel Subaru dealer to anybody looking for a new or used car!
