I found a one owner 2008 RL at Spitzer to replace my 2008 that was totaled. This was the best dealer experience I have ever had. Jeremy Benson was fantastic,... - the dealership treated me as though I was buying a $60,000 RLX Hybrid. Benita in finance was especially helpful, having changed my mind at the last minute about a service contract. Could not have asked for a better experience.
I bought a used 2016 Acura TLX from Spitzer. It was a very stress free buying experience and I got a great deal on a like new car. I had looked around... online and their prices were very competitive. I typically hate buying cars, but Jeremy and the rest of the staff were awesome from start to finish, and even followed up to make sure everything was perfect with the the car. This was our second purchase from them in the last couple years, and they will be my go to dealership going forward.
I got a lot of work done on my car here in the past. I started to notice that my car was low on oil, a lot. I came up clear from Morgantown, WV for multiple... oil consumption tests. Each time they assured me that there was nothing wrong with my car and they would continue to poor oil into it, call me out and tell me that nothing was wrong with my car. From this point on, I checked it weekly and would pour more oil into it. Let me add in, these problems were all occurring right at the end of the warranty. Time went on, and I still went back and got my oil changed, timing belt changed, filters replaced, etc. I got a warranty extension in the mail recently, and it was for engines that were burning oil. I decided to not go back to Spitzer for this oil consumption test but went to Baierl Acura instead. They changed my oil, to start to the test and identified numerous problems with my valves and exhaust. These are all things that Spitzer would have seen when they changed my timing belt. None of these were ever told to me by Spitzer. Instead, they assured me that there was nothing wrong with my car. These are all problems that would have been fixed under my warranty. It will cost me thousands to fix all the damage. I brought this to the attention of corporate and was told that there is nothing that can be done. I will never buy another Acura in my life. These people are weasels. They have had several mechanics in the past 10 years. There is no stability in this dealership.
We are sorry and sympathetic to your problems, however, we have researched this scenario and cannot match it with any customer we have. We also contac...ted the other dealership mentioned and they don't have any recollection either. As there is no name, we cannot research it further. Be careful dealing with Spitzer Acura. After I made an offer, one of their salesmen, Chris, said that the absolute lowest he could go was $600 higher than... what I had offered. I said thank you then we both could move on from this vehicle. Less than 5 minutes after hanging up the phone, he called me back saying that he just spoke with his manager and that he would be able to accept my offer. He took my credit card number down as a deposit because he needed it to "hold the vehicle" and "take it down from their website." Meanwhile, the vehicle was never removed from any 3rd party website (including Cars.com) nor their own website. Chris was off the next day, so the finance manager sent the numbers to Bank of America, who was handling my loan. He sent the original quote, which of course was $600 higher. When Chris returned on Saturday morning, he said this in fact was the correct amount. Total bait and switch. I even have an email from Chris and their finance department with the numbers we had agreed upon. He then tried to claim that he didn't know about Florida taxes, yet throughout all of our discussions he reminded me how he lived in Florida for many years and works with out of state customers all the time. His cell phone number is even a Florida area code. Needless to say, I will be steering all of my friends and family in the Pittsburgh area clear of Spitzer Acura. Their response on here was inaccurate. When we agreed upon the price, it was actually 4 cents higher than my offer so Chris and I laughed over that. Neither of us could have been more clear on that phone call that the "final, out the door price" is what we had agreed upon. Research was even (supposedly?) done that day to look into the intricacies of handling this out of state transaction. I only hope that they act in a more straightforward and honest manner when dealing in person. Perhaps they do. Yes, my refund was returned to me promptly and I thanked them for that. Again, they may be very nice and more straightforward in person, but be careful if dealing strictly over the phone. Best of luck in your search.

I want to thank Jeremy Benson for his patience and professionalism especially dealing with my lack of technology. He took the time to explain the different... features and technology on my new TLX. I was impressed with his communication skill and hands-on explanation. I left the dealership extremely happy that I final understood all the features of my new car. Thank you Jeremy.

I was very pleased with there service! Everyone was very helpful and informative. There was no pressure to bu anything at all they were very nice and I... felt very comfortable there I appreciate very much there service and I would have no problem returning there again for another service.
