Raymond, I'm very sorry we had such a bad phone call. I was truly calling to try and resolve the concern you raised in your Cars.com review. The rea...son I called before going to service to was to make sure I understood your problem completely. I planned on talking with the technician and service writer involved when your vehicle was here in July. You mentioned your vehicle was typically serviced by our service writer, Barry. He has been with our company for over 8 years and he is very honest. The technician that handled your car when it was here in July has been working at this dealership for over 30 years (20 years for us and over 10 for the previous dealership). He is also a very honest person. This is not to say we are perfect. We do make mistakes. As a business that cares about our customers, I was trying to reach out to you and resolve the problem. My vechile have been to the service center, I believe three times the customer service is great but I'm not happy at all. I was told a piece that cost... me 608.00 that will stop the problem, and I have the same issue. The service center told me they drove the car I believe 113 miles and the engine power didn't come on. I picked my car on 9/14 and I drove my car less than that and I still have the issue so I cant believe that at ALL. I'm told now its the electrical harnest that will cost me 1,000 but I was told the piece would stop the problem, I'm confused. I needed other work done to my car that cost me all together 1658.00 but the piece would stop the problem and I'm still having the same issue. I rather just been told at my first visit, Ms.Day you need a new car instead of paying 1658. I could of used that for another car. It took 3 visits and I asked the service manager tell me the truth about my car,I was told to lease a car but yet I just put the money into my car. I would like a call but I'll be calling the service center and returning my car on Monday 9/16.I can't believe when the service people drove the car 113 miles and the check engine light didn't come and I drove less than that and I have the same issue that's BS to me. I will be returning to the service center on Monday. Thanks, from an unhappy customer.
Armen Chevrolet made the entire trading in and buying process extremely easy for me. My car was sold to me with just 2 miles on it, they gave me a fair... trade on my old vehicle and walked me through the steps of each process. The one issue (probably not important to everyone) was the excessive branding they put on my new vehicle with their name on it. They had a vanity plate on the front of the car, a license plate cover with their branding, and an emblem (not a decal) bearing their name stuck with heavy adhesive. It was almost impossible for me to remove the emblem and if not done right could have resulted in damage to the paint.
I sent an inquiry through cars.com and got a response in a very short period of time from Sarah Kacala, from Armen Chevrolet. Sarah is great and she set... up an appointment for me the next business day with Joe Klinger the Used Car Manager. Joe is friendly, incredibly helpful and right down to business. I can't say enough positive things about Jenepher Mitchell, she shares important information, and asks all the right questions making sure all of my questions were answered. The whole process was stress free, positive and EASY. I drove in with a Chevy and left with a Ford, the vehicle I originally inquired about. I will absolutely buy a vehicle from them again, everyone I dealt with was wonderful. I have worked in sales and customer service for over 22 years and I believe in giving credit where credit is due, you have some high quality people working for you! I just had the MOST amazing new car buying experience of my life at Armen Chevrolet in Ardmore. My salesman, Steve Dick, was attentive, caring and knowledgeable... about the vehicles he had available to me. I just lost my husband of 53 years in June and then discovered that our 2001 Bonneville (with 178,000 miles on it) would not pass inspection and I was looking at a LOT of $$ to fix it. Made more sense to buy a new one. With the help of Steve Dick, Rich S. (Sales manager) and Steve (financial manager), I was able to get a VERY doable 3 year lease on a 2017 Equinox. I am a tired but happy lady ... and my new car fits perfectly under my carport!! Thanks again, guys!! I would AND will recommend your dealership to anyone! Oh yeah, I live in Shartlesville, PA ... about 80 miles from the dealership and STILL would go there again!

Recently just bought a car from Armen. Bought a used 2015 Equinox. When I bought the car there was some minor things that I needed to bring the car back... for. My sales person Joe was AWESOME! He sent someone to pick up my car to have the things completed then he personally dropped it back off to me at my house. When he dropped it off I wasn't 100% happy so I asked if I could have it go back in for repairs. Mike V, the sales manager contacted me. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy! He had someone come to my work to pick up the car and was great at keeping in contact me while my car was in the shop!! I work for a dealership myself and I have to say that my experience with Armen Chevys service and sales is wonderful and how all dealerships should be!!

Sales department does a good job of keeping the customer informed. The service department isn't organized and needs help getting organized.
