I have purchased two cars from this dealership and even referred a friend who bought a vehicle here. Up until recently, I always had a great experience. However, everything changed after July 3, 2026, when I traded in my car for a new one. Before trading it in, I had refinanced my old car and was told I would receive a refund for the gap insurance. Since the trade-in, I have been getting the classic runaround. The dealership tells me the refund comes from the lender, and the lender tells me it comes from the dealership. No one wants to take ownership of this issue. To make matters worse, I received a follow-up call from Rose D’Ambrosio asking about my experience. I explained the exact situation to her, and she promised to look into it and call me back. That was three weeks ago, and I have heard absolutely nothing. My spouse even called and left her a voicemail, which also went completely unanswered. This used to be my go-to dealership, but after this experience, I don't know if I will ever purchase a vehicle here again or send any more referrals their way. I am incredibly disappointed. Something has changed at this dealership, and it is not a good change. Do better

Worst experience EVER. Sat there for 5 1/2 hours and all we kept getting was they are running the numbers. Didn't find anything out about my wife getting a car. Waist of a whole day there.

FAIR WARNING TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS - BUYER BEWARE -THEY SOLD AS A VERY EXPENSIVE LEMON, AFTER SITTING 8 HOURS IN THEIR DEALERSHIP. THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF OUR BANKRUPTCY SITUATION AND DID NOT ADHERE TO THEIR BANKRUPTCY POLICY AS MAILED TO US. MY ADVICE? DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. Quick breakdown: We bought a 2023 Nissan Altima in Dec 2025. It had shaking while driving, and we brought it back to the dealership. They had it for four hours and gave it back to us, saying it was the "brakes" and it was fixed now. The shaking while driving continued, so we took it to another mechanic nearby (as every trip to Jeff Ambrosio's dealership is guaranteed to be a 3 hour to 8 hour visit), who rotated the tires in an effort to fix the shaking; they noted that every tire was a different brand and slightly different sizes. We took it back to Jeff Ambrosio. They said they found the problem now, that it is the axle and possibly the transmission, and to start working on this it will be $800. We argued that we took the car in for work within the first 30 days of purchase, due to shaking. Jeff Ambrosio's dealership says "this shaking may not be related to the first issue" which is complete nonsense. They sold us a lemon for a ridiculously high price, which we felt we had to accept after spending 8 hours sitting at their desk as they chose a car that we could afford (they kept switching with car they could approve us for). We were in severe need of a vehicle, we were just out of bankruptcy. Their bankruptcy flier promising no money down was mailed to us, seemed like a great deal, that I verified with 2 or 3 representatives, and shared our sensitive information like access to our credit to be reviewed, before taking the hour drive to look at their cars. They lied. We followed the proper protocol, addressing this with the dealership prior to reporting to Dealer Compliance. However, the Dealer Compliance through our financial instituation is no help because it has now been several months trying to get this fixed, and they can no longer assist. LESSON LEARNED: CONTACT DEALER COMPLIANCE AS SOON AS YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH A VEHICLE YOU PURCHASE FROM JEFF AMBROSIO DEALERSHIP. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

The staff are friendly, which is the only reason this isn't one star. But friendly doesn't make up for a service department that won't stand behind its own quotes. I booked an oil change through the official myVW app, which generated a price of $69.95 tied to my specific VIN, model, and mileage. Before the appointment, I called ahead to confirm and was told directly: "if that's what the app shows, it will be honored." With the price confirmed over the phone, I kept the appointment and drove in on that basis. At the counter, the charge was $150 — brought down to $130 with a $20 coupon, still nearly double the price I had confirmed twice. The reason given was that my engine takes 5.8 quarts of oil instead of 5 — a difference of less than a quart. But instead of charging me for the extra oil, or honoring the price two of their own channels had already confirmed, I was handed the doubled total with no breakdown and no options. Booking the appointment, calling to confirm, and driving in for a price that didn't hold is a lot of wasted time over the dealership's own inconsistency. Bottom line: a price in the myVW app, even confirmed by phone, may not be honored when you arrive. Get every quote in writing.

I recently had an outstanding experience with Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group in Downingtown, and I can’t say enough about the level of service I received—especially from Scott Payne. My Wagoneer initially went in for warranty work, and after the first visit, the necessary parts were ordered quickly. Once everything came in, I scheduled the drop-off with Scott, and the process was seamless from start to finish. The rental department was excellent—they provided me with a vehicle that was comparable in size and comfort, which made a big difference while my car was being serviced. Throughout the entire process, Scott kept me consistently updated. The communication was clear, timely, and professional, which gave me a lot of confidence that everything was being handled properly. As soon as my Wagoneer was finished, I needed to bring in my Jeep SRT for additional warranty work. The transition between vehicles couldn’t have been easier—they allowed me to keep my rental while the SRT was being serviced. Even when the service department experienced a backlog due to how busy they were, Scott was upfront and kept me informed, letting me know when my vehicle would be worked on. That level of transparency really stood out. To top it off, I accidentally left an item in my rental car. When I returned to the dealership the next day, they had it safely set aside for me—another example of their attention to detail and customer care. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The service, communication, and professionalism were all top-notch. I highly recommend Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group and especially Scott Payne for anyone in need of reliable, customer-focused service.

The D'Ambrosio dealership is the best in class. I'm a return customer for multiple purchases, leases and service visits over the past 10 years. My family recently leased 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees and received (as always) very professional guidance from AJ in sales, Joe in management and Jeff in ownership. I highly recommend this team and the overall D'Ambrosio organization.

Waited 4.5 hours to get pressure checked. When finally had had enough and asked about the car, she told me emission check for state inspection itself takes 1 hour- but who the heck asked for inspection to be done 🤨. To cap it all, when my keys were given to her, this “lady” put my keys not in the usual place where keys are put or came to get me but put the keys someplace else and then pretended to look for them on her desk. Height of inefficiency and rudeness. Maybe, it’s the color of my skin, but one thing is certain, Never ever will I go back to this dealership or consider doing any thing in the town of Downingtown.
