Recently, my starter failed. AAA was able to get me started. I left a message for Kyle Herron, my Service Consultant that I was on my way. The part was... in stock, and Kyle had me out the door in 2 hours. This is the type of service I have always received from DCH Tustin Acura and my service consultants. I can trust Kyle to give me solid advice, suggestions and recommendations and detailed explanations. I love the "You are my most important customer!" attitude.
Acura has a policy to replace or repair malfuntioning seatbelts for the life of the car. I took my 2000 TL in because the passenger side seatbelt retractor... was locking and not releasing. The driverside seatbelt wasn't retracting well. This is a 17 year old car and Freddie didn't hesitate to take care of the problems by replacing both retractors...they even washed the car, all for free. ***** ¿
Very easy experience; work was timely and responsible in its price. The service writer was outstanding. The waiting area was clean, quiet and stocked with... coffee.
What I like about this service department, which is the only area that I have dealt with, is that they take their time with every customer, and make sure... that customer leaves satisfied. Here is a recent example : I arrived to pick up my vehicle after having it serviced, and had to wait for my service adviser, Richard Neilson, who was finishing up with another customer. He finished up with her, and started processing me out. He noticed that she got into her car and got out and was looking around for someone to ask a question of. Richard quickly excused himself with me and trotted outside and over to the woman, and they had a few minutes discussion, after which she left. Coming back, he apologized for excusing himself, and then gave me a brief explanation of what the questions the woman had. Now you might think that this was a bit rude to me, but I saw it as just the opposite. Richard wanted his customer to leave satisfied and happy, and did what he needed to do to make that happen. That's the kind of customer service that is so lacking today in many businesses. Just so you know, I was treated in a like manner, Richard did not let me go until I was 100% satisfied. Bravo Richard, and Tustin Acura !! You have my business for as long as I keep my Acura, which I plan on it being a long time.... Doug
