Great experience at this dealership. I was able to find the car I wanted quickly and at the right price. Jon was very knowledgeable about the cars/options and was friendly and attentive. I did not feel pressured and enjoyed the overall experience.

Joel was very helpful in choosing the right car. He let me drive it on the highway and showed me evrything I was looking for in the car he selected. He helped me reduce my payments and replaced the sunroof visor after it was damaged from being detailed. He took very good care of the car, making sure the part was replaced and that the car was clean on the inside. He did a great job. Thanks!

Checkered Flag was very polite and cooperative to deal...

Checkered Flag was very polite and cooperative to deal with. They were not pushy and were very upfront on the whole deal. The only complaint or comment I have is that they need to speed up the whole process, 4 hours is a long time to sit in a dealership to finalize all of the paperwork. What a great experience. Barbara and everyone else at Checkered Flag was friendly and helpful. They made purchasing the car quick and easy. It was a pleasure to work with them. They answered all our questions and we felt we made the best deal possible.

My visit to Checkered Flag Hyundai came on the heels of...

My visit to Checkered Flag Hyundai came on the heels of two other visits to different area dealerships. The first two dealerships were extremely disappointing. I used the USAA car buying service to purchase my vehicle, and as such was surprised to note the absolute disregard for that service on the part of the other dealerships. However, when I arrived at Checkered Flag Hyundai, I was greeted warmly and when I brought up the car buying service up front, they actually stuck to the price quoted through the service. Not only that, they obtained exactly what I wanted from a different location/dealership, rather than trying to wrap everything up right there and send me on my way with a vehicle that wasn't exactly what I wanted. I was about ready to throw in the towel and put off buying a new car for another year or two, but my visit to this dealership and my experience with Joel made me change my mind. The USAA price was honored (a very fair price), I received appropriate value for my trade, and the salesman really let me choose the direction I wanted to go. He was very patient, as I spent 4-5 hours there the first day. He also stayed in contact with me while we waited for the exact car to arrive. I can't say anything negative about my experience. Although I do not usually pledge loyalty when it comes to vehicle purchases, I intend to bring my wife's van by in two years to check out SUVs. I am that impressed with the Hyundai lineup, the level of service, and the atmosphere. I can honestly say that each and every rating above is a "5" (outstanding).

From the beginning to the end Reginald Dildy was exceptional in making me feel comfortable and was knowledgeable about the product he sold and was able to answer all my questions. I felt at ease right away and I did not feel like I was being hassled to make a decision right away as some of the dealers I had visited earlier that day ( Honda, Toyota). I have an amazing new car and Reginald made that possible by being himself and allowing me to be myself. I consider him my new friend and I recommend him and this dealership to everyone I talk to about my new vehicle purchase experience. Thank you so much!

I was vey impressed with my sales person. I told him the type of auto that I wanted and the one option I was interested in. He listened, explained to me the various levels of Hyundais. He did not attempt to interest me in something that I did not want. He answered all my questions forthright even If I might not have liked the answer. I would have been impressed with the dealership even if I had not purchased a car. As a matter of fact I had visited this dealership on two other occasions gathering information. In addition the rest of the process spent with the business office was very efficient and pleasant.

I will highly recommend Stephen McHale and the Checkered Flag Hyundai Management to my friends when purchasing New or used cars. The other Sales Associates on this dealership were customer friendly as well.

When I first walked into the dealership I introduced myself to Joel Perry. I made it clear that I was NOT going to buy a car that day! I was feeling nervous about being a woman and walking into a dealership with mostly men. Stereotypically car sales men have a reputation of being pushy, but NOT Mr. Perry, he was the opposite, he was polite, not pushy and put me to ease. I learned just how knowledgeable he was on all the cars in the lot. Any questions I had he was able to answer them.Mr. Perry is a kind, trustworthy, honest man. After picking to test drive the Elantra limited (not my color)I left... a few days went by and I had made my mind up that I wanted a very popular Elantra 2012 limited (Gray with black leather), Mr. Perry went out of his way and drove to Richmond to pick up the car. Mr. Perry knew just how excited I was about this car and sent me a picture message with my consent. Mr. Perry followed up after the purchase of the car with a phone call. I think very highly of this man, I know that he would bend over backwards to make a customer happy. I'm so super happy with the service I received and would recommend him to EVERYONE!!!! Not only did I buy a car, I know I made a friend!
