Unethical Sales Tactics
I'm not one to write reviews about the wrongs people have done, but my oh my I'm baffled by this salesmen's tactics. Especially since he's won president club awards for at least two years. We worked with Stan Georgakopoulos. Once I started questioning pricing this man would complement me and undermine me all in one sentence. Not once, not twice, but several times. I thought to myself, you really use this to win business and make more money!? How!? I just wanted to share so customers could be weary of the price you're paying and make sure to do research before buying from here. I was the one to test drive and talk to Stan personally since my husband has full confidence in my abilities to purchase vehicles for our family. I really wanted to give this business 5 stars; initially I appreciated the time, effort, and kindness Stan put in. Although his approach was a too aggressive with the excessive complements, excessive building of rapport, speaking highly of the vehicle, then putting me down. The aggressive sale was expected as usual from any car salesman. My husband and I could relate as we are both in the sales industry, but his sales tactics killed our business with him and Hendrick Chevrolet. I test drove the vehicle knowing we would love it because our other vehicle is the same year, make, and model but theirs had the next best package. I did love the vehicle, although the price didn't match what was online. This vehicle was a next best package with a little less miles than our other vehicle that's the same year, make, and model; although it was over double the price. I was a little confused as to why. I brought that up to Stan, he advised they add door guards, a nitrogen clear coat protector, and some other package/feature that didn't quite add up to what they were asking. I advised Stan I wanted to discuss with my husband if we thought it was the right fit for us, the details of how to purchase the vehicle, and get back with him afterwards. The next day I received at least 3 phone calls from different folks at the dealership and a few more the following day discussing details on purchasing the same vehicle. Honestly, it was frustrating explaining and repeating myself to multiple individuals. I had already advised Stan we wanted time to think on it because at the time we couldn't justify it. A few weeks had gone by and we noticed the price had dropped. We decided let ask what's the lowest cash offer they would take. Since after all they had it on their lot for a little while now. I didn't get a clear answer for about 3 phone calls in, there was lot of back and forth. He became very short with me and talked over me almost every phone call exclaiming he was super busy and rushed off the phone each time I attempted to ask a question. I then explained to him the most we were willing to pay cash. Our top offer was still double what we paid for the same vehicle with same year, make, and model we already own. The vehicle was still going to be much higher than what advertised on the website. When I mentioned the misrepresentation on the website he became nasty with his remarks explaining "there is fine print on the website". He had plenty of other rude remarks along the lines of "the commission wouldn't compensate his time spent working with us", "we didn't see the value", and "in the end its a piece of metal and is it really worth not having a friend here for the next 20 years". Honestly at that point I didn't care to do business with him or Hendrick Chevrolet. I was quite fed up, but still remained polite stating "I hope you have a nice day and thank you for you time". In the end after negotiating the price with Stan, he quickly lost our business with his disrespect and undermining us.

If your a veteran, don’t expect to retain what Chevrolet gives you as discount for your service on a new vehicle. Hendricks will slyly keep it and act like to your face you received something. The initial salesman was great, it was the “closer” and finance.

Genuine Customer Service -- Customer comes first!
If you need a great salesperson, I highly recommend Christine Goetz at Hendrick and also commend the whole Hendrick team. I interacted most in person with Christine and I have to say that the enthusiasm and care that Christine showed me was deeply appreciated. She was organized, prompt, and highly responsive to my needs. She was courteous, helpful and followed through to answer every question I had. She was extremely personable and genuine. I would recommend her to anyone. She will go above and beyond to HELP you whether or not a sale is made. THAT is putting the customer and customer's needs first. Absolutely the BEST salesperson I have ever had the pleasure to meet and I look forward to working with her again!
