Buy a Lexus/Toyota and save yourself a headache

This dealership (and GM as a whole) cares NOTHING about its customers. I purchased a 2018 Tahoe LT BRAND NEW from Jim Ellis and I have had nothing but problems. First I had to replace the A/C Condenser Coil which cost me $1,000 because my VIN just happened to NOT be included in the group of VINs that were covered under warranty for this. Next, I had to replace an engine coil, plug wire, and plug due to "Cylinder 1 Misfiring." This cost me $400! Please explain to me how a BRAND NEW VEHICLE with 50,000 miles needs these types of repairs. I fear that the only option I have is to sell this car and go purchase a Lexus or Toyota because it is clear that General Motors does not put quality control in high regard when building their vehicles these days. It really is sad.

Thank you for your response. I emailed Ralph yesterday (12/8) morning at 7 am but have yet to receive a response. Perhaps this was an automated response from the dealership, which would signal more of the same from them.

My experience working with Evan was top notch.

My experience working with Evan was top notch. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I would rate his service 5 stars. I would rate Jim Ellis 3 stars. I shouldn't have to go to Car Max to get an appraisal just for the dealership to match their trade in. They have the ability to pay more than auction prices for trade ins and still make a profit on resale. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Evan to others and Jim Ellis considerably more than the dumpster fire experience I previously had at Carl Black in Kennesaw. Andre Thomas, the finance manager, was also great. I was very pleased with my experience working with him.

I have always had great service at the Peachtree location but my experience this time was absolutely outstanding. I came in for an oil repair and new wiper blades and left with 4 new tires as well. That has not been noticed before in an inspection. I did not know I had the ability to start my car remotely so I would not ruin more wiper blades trying to hurry and defrost my windshields. He also went through how to use it with my keys. He helped me through the choices of tires and we unknowingly picked a set that also had a rebate offered which I appreciated. Vladimir filled out the form and processed it for me so now all I have to do is wait! There is good, great and exceptional customer service and that is what I received during this visit! Also, I appreciate having my car washed and cleaned again...it is a nice luxury to my visit and new. I drive a ways to come to this location and will continue to do so. Thank you Vladimir and Jim Ellis Chevrolet for a tremendous experience with my car.
