Efficient Sales

Quick and efficient sale w/ Judaea Horn. I used my new car buyer service through my bank which had a pre-negotiated rate. As a result, Judaea was able to process my paperwork, prep the new car, and move me through the finance process very quickly. Judaea went further to offer add'l time on any day in the future to talk through any of the NAV or Blue Tooth functionality if we required it.

Great Experience at Pohanka Honda Fredericksburg

We had a fantastic experience at Pohanka Honda with Tamika Morefield as our sales consultant. She was very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. The price on our Honda was very reasonable and the value given for our trade was not "low ball", which is always a concern. Tamika negotiated a great deal for us and even threw in a shirt for hubby! Most car shopping experiences are truly painful- from the pushy salespeople to the inflated prices- this was none of those. Beautiful dealership, friendly people, great prices, awesome experience.

LOVE POHANKA HONDA!

I was referred to Bill Hamilton by one of my employees. I live in Fairfax, so the drive to Fredricksburg was far and at first I was a little weary of driving down there when I had a Honda dealer right next to my house. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Bill had the two different Pilots I was considering ready and waiting for me when I arrived. He got everything started quickly and made what can often be a long, painful process into an easy and very pleasant one. He helped us out A LOT on the price (as it is the end of the model year) and stuck to his word. No games, no "tricks". I had also gone to the dealer next to my house and the experience with Bill and Pohanka was on a totally different end of the spectrum. No pressure, no pushy sales pitch - he also got me an even better model for a much better price than what the other dealer was offering. Bill has sold cars to many people in my office and everyone had nothing but great things to say about him. He even followed up with me the next say to see how everything was going. I told him I loved the car but sadly a pebble had hit my windshield driving home and caused a little ding and Bill offered to call someone to help me fix it! That's customer service! He assured me I could call or text him anytime if I had a question about the car since there are so many features to it. He connected my phone to the car's system before I left, showed me how to use some of the main features and off we went. Most pleasant car-buying experience I have ever had. I will definitely refer Bill and Pohanka Honda to anyone that asks. Even if you live far from there, it is worth the drive! Thanks Bill and Pohanka Honda!

Pohanka of Fredericksburg and Carlo Rubio

Carlo was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He was also patient and willing to work with me as I was working with several dealers. I had contacted every dealer in my area (around 8 or so) and Pohanka was able to make me a deal that my local dealer couldn't match. The actual dealership was very nice, large, and new as well. I would recommend working with Carlo and Pohanka to anyone.

Positive Sales Experience with Don Erikson

My daughter and I recently visited Pohanka Honda with my daughter?s intent of test driving and purchasing a new Honda. This was my daughter?s first new auto purchase, and she had decided to focus on Honda since Dad had been driving Hondas basically as problem-free, and with great longevity since 1974. We had contacted Don Erikson a week earlier, and all was set to test drive the Fit and Civic on a Saturday morning. The test drives went well, and Don answered a number of questions to my daughter?s satisfaction. She decided to go with the 2013 Civic LX, and her targeted price along with the trade-in value of her 1998 Accord (~ 255,000 miles) were met directly to her satisfaction. Financing through Honda Financial Services was a breeze, and at nothing less than a favorable 0.9%. Don and my daughter negotiated directly, and both were satisfied with their successful Honda transaction from start to finish. In closing, I was very impressed with Don?s knowledge of vintage Hondas. Although our discussions were limited, Don and I reflected on Honda?s N600 (and AZ600) from the early 1970s, leading to the initial Civic production for 1973 and 1974, and finally to the technologically advanced CVCC engine that was introduced in 1975. Thanks Don.

New Car Purchase Review

I would highly recommend Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg and Bill Hamilton in particular. I am a 58 yr old female who made my first new car purchase. I walked in to the dealership wanting to look at used cars, knowing that I had a limited budget and wanting to get the most for my money. Bill was so patient with me, he helped me to narrow down my requirements and educated me as to my options. A combination of Bill's knowledge, Honda's year end deal and the help of Pohanka's finance department, I walked out with a brand new CRV that meets my needs and my budget. The customer service didn't end there, I drove into the dealership with my current car, with no intention of trading it. Bill realized that logistically I couldn't get both vehicles home so he delivered the CRV to my home in Springfield. Talk about going out of your way for a customer! Kudos to Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg and Bill Hamilton for making my car buying experience a pleasure!

Best Car Buying Experience Thus Far!

My mother referred me to Bill Hamilton after having a pleasant experience with him when she purchased her new car. I immediately felt comfortable with Bill. He was kind, curteous and attentive. He asked all the right questions upfront so he could better serve my needs. I told him exactly what I was looking for, how much I could afford and he made it happen. I'm now happily driving a Honda Civic. Bill took the time to show me how to use the features in my new Civic and even linked my iPhone with the car's Bluetooth. Based on my experience with Bill and other employees at Pohanka Honda, I will likely purchase another vehicle from them in the future and will defintitely refer people to this dealership. Thank you!

Surprised by all the glowing reviews

The actual car buying process was typical of every other car purchase I have made. Several trips to the office by my salesman with plenty of attempted slight of hand and slightly insulting sales techniques. The unacceptable issue arose after the purchase. A personal check was written to buy the car over the holiday weekend. On Monday I called to inform the finance department that a check from another account would be sent and not to process the original EFT. A message was left on Monday with the finance manager that handled my deal. A message was left on Tuesday with the salesman and the Director of Finance. On Wednesday a message was left for both of these individuals again. On Thursday message and e-mail was left for the General Manger. I finally received a call from the Director of Finance that afternoon. I have never understood businesses that handle post sales issues in this manner. I will be in the market for another car in approximately three months. My neighbor is looking for a new car and my boss has to replace his recently totaled car. I will make sure they are well aware of my experience at Pohanka.

Thank you Tamika M. at Honda of Fredericksburg!!

From start to finish, our experience with Tamika Morefield at the Honda dealership was amazing. What a blessing she was to my family and I. We came in under unfortunate circumstances after our car broke down unexpectedly. It was going to cost more to fix it than the car was worth but we were not necessarily prepared to purchase a new vehicle either. Tamika and her sales manager spent an extensive amount of time working out several possible scenarios (lease, trade in for a used vehicle, trade in for a new vehicle, ect). They approached the situation from OUR perspective and what would benefit US the most as opposed to how they could benefit as a dealership. After much discussion, it was obvious that purchasing new was the best option for us. We came into the dealership feeling hopeless about our vehicle situation and left with a brand new car. The price was RIGHT and they bent over backwards to make it work for us. They even helped in any way possible to reduce the amount of negative equity we had in the broken vehicle. They did everything possible to make it work for us financially! I cannot tell you how appreciative we are for Tamika! Finding honest, genuine, caring car sales reps is not always easy. Tamika conducted herself with integrity and she was a joy to purchase a car from. From start to finish she made us her #1 priority and she was genuinely happy to have been involved in rectifying our car situation. We live in a world where one bad experience can be blasted on social media sites. Rarely do people take the time to blast about good experiences. Well, having a "good" experience is an understatement for us! I highly recommend Tamika and the Honda team to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Thank you Tamika for everything you did to help us. You have truly been an angel! God bless you!

Greate customer service, excellent prices

My friend and I shopped around a couple of dealerships and ended up finishing at the Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg. From beginning to end our dealer Judaea Horn was amazing. We went in thinking about Honda civic 2013 lx and she gave us all the info we needed. She was extremely patient and explained all the features Honda civic has. I am so excited about the Civic i bought and the price just couldn't have been beaten, Would absolutely recommend this dealership and Judaea Horn who helped us out.
