Write a reviewAbsolutely appalled at the utter disrespect this establishment has shown. My husband and I have been researching to buy a new truck for months. We spent numerous hours online looking at options and inventory. We were excited to see that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trailboss LT was in stock at a local dealership (Whitmore). We were off on MLK day, and planning to purchase a truck after all of our research; and a bonus that we could support a local business. However, when we arrived on the lot (9:15am) there were no other customers, but yet no one came out to greet us — we had to go in and ask for assistance. Once inside, my husband inquired about a test drive. The sales representative (while still sitting at his desk), asked my husband what his credit score was, my husband informed him that he had outstanding credit. Next, the salesman, still sitting asked, “well do you have a co-signer lined up? Because that’s a pretty pricey truck!” Absolutely appalling and completely disrespectful! Never once did this individual introduce himself nor offer any information about the vehicle. He did however assume that my husband must be too poor to afford a “pricey” truck, advertised at $50k (the going rate for trucks nowadays) just by walking in the front door. Outraged, I called and asked to speak with the owner so we would have an opportunity to discuss; but he too has refused to return any calls. Ultimately, we drove to Priority Chevrolet in Chesapeake and purchased that “pricey” truck with no issues! Do not recommend this dealership; please find other alternatives.

My SUV was turned in about a month ago to this sad excuse for a dealership. My vehicle was full of issues and they claimed it threw 11 codes....the receptionist at the time set my vehicle and service order aside because she ASSUMED I didn’t want to purse it. She was specifically told to let them start ASAP on the engine. Make it safe to drive. So of course the service department got several other jobs and mine was ignorantly ignored. I called again and a new receptionist answered. I explained who I was and about my vehicle. I asked to speak with the service department or a mechanic. This lady seriously just set the phone down and went to ask for me! I have been ignored THREE times when asking for a paper copy or what exactly was wrong with my vehicle. Today...called again and the man in the service department said they replaced the starter last Friday, but it still won’t turn on. Mind you it started when I dropped it off. At the beginning of this oh so lovely adventure I was given and estimated $3,300 for repairs. How in the absolute xxxx can you give me an estimated price of you claim time after time over several weeks that you still cannot figure out what is wrong. The man could of been the Webster definition of NONCHALANT. He acted as if I have all the tome in the world to wait for my vehicle that seats my three children comfortably. I have been extremely inconvenienced by this entire situation. My family is down to one vehicle. A sedan not suited for three children. They are side by side and uncomfortable. My Grandfather passed away last week and I COULD NOT go because it would take the one vehicle away...I have grown way past livid and as highly dissatisfied as could be now. I would post this on a billboard if I could help anyone AVOID this dealership. The receptionist customer service is poor and unprofessional as is the apparently I knowledgeable service department and mechanics full of excuses. Yours sincerely, One PISSED off Momma

My experience here at Whitmore Chevrolet has been absolutely over the top. In fact the attention I've received here allows me to recommend them for both finding the vehicle you want and their follow up service. The staff has always provided great customer service. i love my Tahoe. Five Stars all the way....

I had a very good buying experience. I have been looking for a used vehicle since the beginning of the year. Some dealerships were awful, I had one treat me like a child screaming at me because of their mistake telling me I should start going to junk yards it would be the only place I could afford a vehicle. I bought my 06 Chevy Avalanche from Whitmore. My salesman was helpful with my questions and because of different requirements in Va was helpful with the DMV and registering my new vehicle. They took my trade in and topped my new truck off with gas. Everyone in the dealership was genuinely friendly and very accomedating. I know have the best looking truck in Northern Va. And I am so much happier.

I initially inquired about a vehicle and received a quick response saying that if I needed anything to let them know. However, when I requested information on the vehicle I was interested in i received no response. Thinking I was at fault, I sent another email and stil received no response.
