Shelor Motor Mile Christiansburg, VA. We purchased a Kia Sportage and also purchased what we thought was “Ceramic Coating”. We was never told otherwise that what we were purchasing was not Ceramic Coating. Paid $1,000.00 for this Zurich coating/ wax whatever you want to call it to be applied to our Kia. Took them 3 times to clean it and apply it to the Kia after us finding sticker residue on it in spots. After washing the Kia we noticed that the water wasn’t beading up on the Kia like it should with ceramic coating. It was puddling up in places instead. Called Shelor and told them and they said well what you purchased was not actual ceramic coating. WHAT?? I said I would not have paid $1000.00 for anything but ceramic coating. Asked for a refund and one man told me that they were not in business to issue refunds. He said you still have your warranty. I said I have 2 chips of paint on my hood now that wouldn’t have happened if I had real ceramic coating on the Kia. He then says well I talked to Karen and we don’t feel like we have done anything wrong. We sit there in the office and talked back and forth how good ceramic coating is and nothing was ever said that what they offered was not ceramic coating. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE THE ZURICH COATING THAT THEY OFFER YOU AFTER PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE. Better yet just don’t purchase any vehicle from this place.

As usual, the service rep was courteous and professional. He gave me an estimate for how long it would take and the work was finished about 15 minutes less time than he had told me. My Subaru drove smoothly when I left the service center, which was nice since part of the work was to rotate the tires. The other work was to change the oil. I don't know how to evaluate that service, but I know I've never had any issues in that area and don't expect to. I also liked that they covered the space in my car where the mechanic was working there y keeping that space clean.

I cant say enough good things about my experience today. I went thinking I was gonna pay more for what I needed done to my car. Thats when Chris Sutphin made my day! What a really nice person he is and he took care of my car repair issue. Chris has only been there 3wks! Keep this fellow Shelor he has awesome customer service skills! Hope you are there on my next trip for car maintenance!
