Jaremy met us right away to help us. He listened as I described what I was looking for and brought a car around for us to consider. We loved the car and were able to get the price where we needed to purchase. This is my third experience with Murdock and will probably go back in the future.

Having major issues with Hyundai Financing
I purchased a new vehicle dec2019 and in order to get the best deal I had to finance thru Hyundai. I have made all payments on time but I kept getting past due notice . I have made NUMEROUS calls to the company and the dealership and have got nothing but a run around. I want to pay the car off and they can’t even give me a pay off amount because of a “system error”. Every time I call I am told the situation will be corrected, but so far it has not and I have been dealing with this Early march

Hi JD. We apologize for the inconvenience. I know Ben Murdock has been trying to get this sorted out for you with Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF). While HMF is a separate entity from Murdock Hyundai Logan and we don't have any direct control over their billing, we are, of course, happy to get involved and try to help get this straightened out. Thank you for your patience.

We have purchased five vehicles from murdock Hyundai and find they try hard to make the process pleasant. We recommend the dealership to many people. We feel they are well trained and honest

Have had nothing but problems with Hyundai financing!...
Have had nothing but problems with Hyundai financing! They have yet to apply any of the 5 payments I have made correctly. They keep telling me it is a system error and that they will get it taken care of but in the meantime I am getting past due notices. I have contacted the dealership where I purchased the vehicle and spoke with Ben Murdock, who assured me he would help get this matter taken care of and get back with me within a week... I am still waiting to here from him ! Absolutely ridiculous

Ben has been in touch with you a few times including today and is working with Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) to try and get this fixed for you. While HMF is a separate entity from Murdock Hyundai Logan and we don't have any direct control over their billing, we are, of course, happy to get involved and try to help get this straightened out. Thank you for your patience.
Ben Murdock got back with me after 14 days and me calling him again. He did get with HFC yesterday and was told that they did not have a payment that I had made . I had been told in 5 phone calls before that they had my payments but that they were not applied correctly. I had to take time out of my day to go to bank and get a copy of my cancelled check to prove, that in fact, they did have my payment.. While I was waiting for the bank to get the copy for me, I actually called HFC myself, and I was again told they had all my payments, including the one Ben was told they didn’t have. This is a joke!
Would give 0 if I could. Unethical sales and finance...
Would give 0 if I could. Unethical sales and finance team. It might go higher than that. Maybe if you have a lot of money to put down, you'd be okay. But the average person will get screwed. Go somewhere else!

Very Low Pressure
We were very pleased with our experience at Murdock Hyundai Logan. Landon was especially a pleasure to work with. We felt we were treated fairly and are pleased with our 2020 Kona purchase.

We shopped all the VW dealerships in SLC and Utah County and didn’t see what we wanted or was unimpressed with how the dealership treated us during the negotiation process. I had a friend that told me he engaged with the Logan VW dealership and they were $2k cheaper than everyone else. I called them and within minutes they had given me an offer that was about $2k cheaper than the other dealers. I wish we had not wasted so much time with the other dealership.

Bad trade in...felt robbed
I previously I’d a review and we left feeling like they did us a favor. They then called us the next day and asked for more proof of income which was fishy and raised some serious red flags. All the details of the purchase seemed to be taken care of. Then talking to the bank the bank said they didn’t approve the loan until we took the car. So their could have been some serious issues with that situation. I guess for our first time buying a car we felt like we were taken advantage of. If you buy a car I would advise you to not do a trade in. Our car if sold privately, we could have gotten at least $3300 for the car. The way they worded their sale made it seem we were going to get about $3000 out of it but we actually lost all of it on their trade in. Then they are going to turn around and sell it for $3,000 or more. Also they made us pay a bogus $100 fee on Nitrogen for the tires, which I thought was complementary!? I didn’t buy a Bugatti Vernon! No one needs nitrogen in their car tires just another way for their company to make money and add bogus fees. They were nice but pretty much stole our car because we didn’t know what we were doing and we were taken advantage of. So don’t do any trade ins with these guys, or really any car dealership. We worked with their sales guy Jon and their finance guy trent. They think they are honest but in the end it was a bad experience, we lost serious money. I feel foolish. We are stuck upside down in a car that isn’t worth as much as we own. And we basically paid them to take our car. Make sure you study about how they do their numbers. Because after I walked out of this one it makes me feel pretty foolish. Maybe I’m dumb, but If you haven’t dealt with a dealership before. Take someone with you that has, to make any purchase. I gotta give it these guys, they got me. I could never work their dishonest jobs

Hi Skyler. We're appreciate your business and are sorry that you feel this way. Clearly we failed to adequately explain the trade in numbers. The trade in value of your car, (a car which is 11 years old with over 190,000 miles) as provided by Kelley Blue Book is in the range of $445-$1,190. Private sale value would be closer to $3,000. We gave you $1,250 (above the high end of KBB trade-in). That went toward your payoff. We currently have it listed on our website for $1,990. If we manage to sell it for that much our profit after paying sales commissions and covering other costs is actually quite low. And if it stays on our lot longer than another 2-3 weeks we'll probably lower the price. You weren't ripped off or taken advantage of. In regards to the nitrogen you mention, we believe that the advantages of nitrogen vs. regular air are worth it - not just for performance cars. We'll refill your nitrogen any time free of charge. If you still have questions and would like to speak with me or a member of our team at the dealership, feel free to email skeeler@murdockautoteam.com. Thank you and best regards, Murdock Hyundai Murray.
