They applied a temporary filler to hide scratches on a black SUV. All 4 tires are always uneven everyday even when you put the same amount of air in them. They try to sell you wheels insurance, when you tell them that you don't want it, they lied and said it comes with the car, and you have to get it, but it doesn't and you don't have to get it. They don't care if you have a budget of not for a car. They still try to sell you most expensive car or high mileage car. They will tell you that another customer is wanting the same car that they are trying to sell you to pressure you into getting it.

I chose Cable Dahmer because I bought my first car from Cable Dahmer Kia in Lawrence Ks. My recent experience was Atrocious. The Sales person we were set up with Paulo Pita is the most dishonest person i have ever done business with. He asked us our budget and what we were looking for. We said a reliable vehicle for a family of 3 under 20,000. The first vehicle he showed us was 21,000. I thought ok I get it he wants to get the most commission we can afford. My phone was dying but I had enough life in the battery to search your webpage for vehicles and asked to see the Jeep trail hawk listed for 17,600. When we test drove the car we loved it and immediately decided to purchase it. When we were done with the financing paperwork. He brought us the paperwork and my partner and I were questioning the numbers we were looking at. Putting 4000 down and traded in our used Prius for 500 the total was showing 20,000 after the money down. When we asked Paulo how a 17,600 car was going to cost 20,000 after trade in he replied. The cost was 17,600 if we qualified for all of the rebates and out trade in was a 2023 year model or newer plus taxes. We debated and bought the car anyway because i needed a vehicle as soon as possible. Paulo then said he was going to fill the tank and asked if we wanted anything from the gas station. We watched him get in the jeep and drive off. He was gone for over 30 minutes. When he returned we went to sign the documents. None of which outlined the total cost that we could read. When we left the dealership with the jeep the gas light came on as soon as I hit the highway. I barely made it to the gas station! Paulo had taken the vehicle for a joyride on his lunch break and didn’t bother putting gas in it. When i called Paulo to ask him why he lied he said “ gosh my assistant was supposed to fill the tank, you can fill it up and bring in a receipt and we will reimburse you”. After which I was infuriated, so I took a closer look at the finances. He marked the vehicle up to 24500$ which is 9400$ over maximum bluebook value, In total our 17,600$ vehicle cost us 26500$ with tax plus the terrible finance terms with Ally put us at a 40% interest rate. We received several denied loan requests from another lender days later showing much better rates but were not informed of these requests. No document we signed showed the total cost of the vehicle. Though our salesman knew we could not afford anything over 20000$ When we came in with the receipt for the gas we spoke with the finance guy who we signed papers with. He knew nothing about the gas reimbursement so he tracked down Paulo. Paulo took the receipt and said his assistant would give it to finance and they would mail us a check. Now I already know that is a lie because Paulo doesn’t have an assistant and finance already was bewildered by the concept. After my complaint and reviews went through a sales manager worked with me to set the vehicle price back down to its original listed price and we refinanced based on that amount. I’m now much happier with my purchase. Granted paying full price should not really require so much headache and worry. I wouldn’t recommend buying a vehicle here unless you have great credit and know exactly how much you should be paying.

I should say I am happy with the vehicle, and hope the service department and vehicle warranties prove helpful.

If you like no pressure in car buying, then this is your place. Yucento was fabulous and very knowledgeable. 10/10. The only down side I can think of, is they didn't have my brand new car detailed throughly (someone had been driving it). There was sticky stuff in the cupholder and a sandwich wrapper in the console compartment. They did take it back into the shop and have someone remove the sticky substance, but it was not gone thru and thoroughly cleaned.

Not to happy with pricing with what they advertise. They get you in with a lower price. Then.stick it to you, if you're not trading in or if you're not financing with them

No one wanted to take responsibility. The workers would throw the supervisor under throw bus. In 10 days I never got a straight answer. Money wasn't paid for not doing the brake light. Car was there 10 days and I should be compesated. A lot of this i actually have on my phone.

All the above reviews are 100% correct. I've never had a salesperson argue everything I said. Sent rude texts when I told him I wasn't interested in a car. Then harassed me for 2 weeks after telling him no. Cable Dahmer and these sales people got to be the worst in the metro area. Hendrick Toyota was the most pleasant experience we had buying a car and glad I gave my business to them and not this place.

The Cable Dahlmer on 103rd Street ended up with my business because of their willingness to work with me and not doing the runaround of going back and forth between the manager, the salesperson, and me. Another location had done that, and I walked in a bit fearfully, thinking this would happen here. Instead, the manager came over to introduce himself to me. I knew then that this would be where I would buy my car. From that point on, it got better. I was listened to about what I wanted and didn't want; they never left me waiting for very long while things were being done. Someone came by to let me know when the next step would take place. The manager came by on his way out to say goodnight and make sure I had no questions. Financing took the longest, and afterwards my salesperson, Ken, took time to show me many things I would need to know in my new Chevy Trax. Ken made sure I had a detailed vehicle and a full tank of gas. I had my last car for 13 years and will miss it for all the adventures we had in our travels and Girl Scout Adventures. BUT my hot blue Trax has already taken me to the Boundary Waters of Minnesota in our first week together. I know it will be a few years, but I will be back to this Cable Dahmer on 103rd Street in the future and am HIGHLY recommending them to everyone I know!

Current service appreciated as I work to get my car purchase on track. Health issues created a situation I had not anticipated. The service received in getting the necessary paperwork to me was handled with direct knowledge of what exactly needed to take place to resolve missing documents and the service rep got right on it.
