I reached out to Texas Cars Direct regarding a vehicle I was very interested in buying. Ami, one of the finance people, reached out fairly quickly and was very pleasant. I emailed her with a little information and mentioned that there may be a small hiccup on my credit and asked if this could potentially be a problem. She then went completely cold on me and told me I needed to fill out an application. She didn’t tell me where to find it, or send me in directly, or even ensure me that they would help me the best they can. I was treated like a low end customer and I was immediately put off. I contacted another local dealership that had the EXACT vehicle I wanted and they treated me like a REAL customer. They worked with me and we found out my hiccups weren’t that bad. I Ended up buying the EXACT car Texas Cars Direct had and they treated me the way a customer should be treated. I even called Ami and left a message for her to call me back before I made the decision to go check out the other dealership. Ami never returned my call. Lastly, I told ami that I was having issues getting financed (I was not) just to see one last time if she would be receptive to trying to help me. She told me that If they can’t help me, she probably cannot either and completely wrote me off. I have purchased several cars over the years and this was the worst I have ever been treated. I will NOT recommend Texas Cars Direct to ANYONE. Shame on you, I would have purchased your vehicle that day.

I recently purchased a luxury car from Texas Cars Direct after monitoring the nationwide Internet-based wholesale market for nearly 6 weeks. Texas Cars had more "Great Buy" and "Good Buy" rated cars in their inventory than any other large quantity dealer. Like most wholesalers, there is little room for haggling or price reductions. These will come over time if the inventory sits. But I conveyed my target price on a particular car to the GM and his sales staff and Adam Wolkowitz subsequently provided me with an email encouraging me to monitor the price of my targeted car. The next morning there was a slight reduction and the deal was completed within 24 hours! Additionally, Adam arranged a trusted transport company for delivery. As precaution, I got 3 additional bids and his referred company beat them all by $50-$500. The car was at my home less than a week later. The Texas Cars Direct team are experts in this niche. I may buy another car from them in the future and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for best pricing on late model cars with low mileage.
