TECH WIZARDS.. Amazing .. Star Ford's technology / quality control person is so knowledgeable and highly proficient. Vehicle modem issue resolved in less than 30 mins, included phone / vehicle and app interface connectivity. Star is very forward thinking, made the investment in personel, tech and training. Star understands connectivity between our vehicles and our everyday lives. Very impressive. I would give 10 stars!

I first chose Star Ford because of their reviews, but based on my experience, I would strongly recommend staying away. The first time I brought my car in, communication was already poor. My vehicle sat outside in their lot for over four days, and when it was finally returned, it was covered in dust. I had dropped it off freshly washed, yet after servicing it, they didn’t even have the courtesy to rinse it off or wipe it down. The second experience was even worse. My car battery was having issues, so I made a service appointment on Friday for pickup on Monday. From Friday through Saturday, I called more than 15 times between 11 AM and 5 PM, left four voicemails, sent five text messages, and even used the website chat. I never received a single response. On Monday, they were scheduled to pick up my vehicle, but again, not one call, text, or update. I even left work early to be available, and no one ever showed up or contacted me. This level of service and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I’ve already shared my experience with colleagues and friends so they know what to expect.

It's places like this that are why people HATE dealerships! I attempted to buy a used 2022 Mustang Mach-E GT (VIN ending 2119) from Star Ford Glendale at the $27,539 “Star Price” shown on their website. Since I’m ~400 miles away, I requested an out-the-door quote and to hold it with a deposit while I arranged a cashier’s check and travel. After some back-and-forth providing info, Jasmine texted me saying ”since we have your credit app/deposit we will hold the vehicle unless you would like to not proceed” Their first OTD quote included a $395 VIN etching add-on and was also $250 higher than the advertised website price (I provided a screenshot of). After I referenced SB478 banning required add-ons, they removed the etching but still kept pricing $250 above the website using the excuse that other people had expressed interest and it was a bug that was no longer live (I was able to get it to provide the same price again after they claimed this) After numerous texts/calls, I was told a manager approved honoring the website price and that a final revised OTD reflecting the advertised pricing would be sent. I was then resent the previous quote that was $250 high which I pointed out, and the response was “Wow you’re right let me get that fixed” While waiting, I emailed the deposit/CC information since we had verbally agreed on terms. After over an hour of waiting for the corrected OTD price sheet and contacting multiple employees, I received a call from Ryan. Despite no warning and it being less than three hours after being told the car was being held for me, Ryan said they were not holding it and were selling it to an in-person buyer that evening. I asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager was out and neither myself or Ryan could reach him. I was later informed Ryan is actually the owner of the dealership and that he was the one that made the decision to rescind the deal after personally approving it. It's absurd it took hours of back and forth between six phone calls and dozens of text messages just to get a dealer to sell a vehicle at their own asking price. Then after all that just decide to not honor the hold that was confirmed IN WRITING is something else.

I live in the Las Vegas area but my 2002 F150 popped a spark plug when I was in Glendale. Star Ford knew I was from out of town and I’m certain that they overcharged me to repair the vehicle as they knew I didn’t live in the area and I had little choice, because getting the truck to another place to fix the issue would have been a logistical nightmare. The cylinder that lost the plug was right up at the front driver side of the engine and was easily accessible. Installing a helix should have taken about an hour, maybe two on the outside if the mechanic working on it was high and liked to take a lot of breaks. But Star Ford claimed that this was a 7 to 8 hour job! They ended up charging me almost $1900 to install a SINGLE HELIX. And then they had the gall to offer to change out the remaining spark plugs for an additional $600?!? What the f--- are they smoking in Star Ford of Glendale?? The service tech Sam Davis was polite and professional, but she seemed to have little sway (or little interest) in ensuring that the service manager didn’t bend me over on the charges. Star Ford is the kind of dealership that makes people not trust the automobile industry. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE. There are plenty of smaller mechanic shops in the area that would have done the work for less than $800 (some, a LOT less) and would have had the work done more quickly. I only wish that I had AAA take to one of those places instead. Avoid Star Ford at all costs for service. FOLLOW UP - Manny the service manager for Star Ford got in touch with me regarding my complaint and refunded a substantial amount of my payment. His decision to do that was appreciated by me and I’m thankful that he took the time to make things right. Looks like Star Ford owns up to their mistakes and they do what they can to make the customer happy. Good job, Manny!

Brought my 2023 Explorer into service twice during mid-Nov. to mid-December. Had problems with: 1) Bluetooth phone connection, 2) steering wheel alarm system, and 3) the rear-seat occupancy alert. In two visits, not one issue was resolved, even though I was told each time that everything was resolved and the dealership had my car for ten days and two days, respectively. On Dec. 20, I visited the Ford dealer in Thousand Oaks and in about 15 minutes, that service writer resolved the phone connection and rear-seat occupancy alarm issues. The steering wheel issue remains to be resolved, but not at Glendale Ford. Over the years I have purchased or leased several dozen new cars, many of them Fords. Glendale Ford's service dept. is the most disappointing of all. I am a new Glendale resident, however my next new Ford in late 2025 certainly will not be acquired at Glendale Ford.

Incompetence and laziness are run this dealership. They seem to be too cheap and foolish to make a sale. Rather than get $25k cash and a trade in they would rather try to charge you more to fix the things that are wrong with the car. This place is a joke, stay away. Total trash salesman who work with you 0%.

Thank you to my service advisor Christian for going above and beyond to assist in resolving the issue I had with my wheel locks. Unfortunately, few weeks ago I went to Star Ford Lincoln for an oil change. That day Seta Alexanian helped me with my service and unluckily whoever worked on my vehicle that day they forgot to put back my wheel lock back. It’s a service advisor’s job to check on everything before my vehicle comes out from the shop. However, Seta didn’t even care to check and that day without me knowing I went home without my wheel lock. Few weeks later I went back because I had a flat tire and I wanted to see if they can help me with that but unfortunately they figured out that my wheel lock was missing. Thank God Christian helped me that day and he called Seta to ask her one simple question. If she knew anything about my missing lock since she helped me last time. In front of me she gives him this ugly attitude and not even a single apology to me, she walks away. To be honest, I am really disgusted from her attitude and not satisfied with her customer service at all. I really hate to mention her name but I have to because no one deserves to be treated with a nasty attitude and I hope people read my review and never ask for her help at Star Ford Lincoln. Whoever goes to Star Ford Lincoln I recommend asking for Christian or any other service advisor. Thank you to Christian for his grate customer service, and ordering me a new set of wheel locks.

While making arrangements to pick up of a donated vehicle located at Star Ford in Glendale, we were advised that there was a huge storage bill to be paid before the car could be released. I contacted Manny Arguello in the service department who advised two years of storage was owed, a figure which had become quite large. Once he found out the car was being donated to charity he did not hesitate to waive all fees owed and release the vehicle to us. My hat is off to this man, he is a credit to humanity.
