Rust rust rust

I bought a Silverado from them last summer and immediately had problems one the way home after driving 3 hours to get the vehicle. The fender flares fell off while driving and my cat converter went up on the way home. Although they replaced the cats the fender flare job was sub par and they were coming off again when I went to pick it up. The biggest issue is when I began to peel away the paint and reformer they sprayed under the truck and all over it. I found an astronomical amount of of rust that appears as though they just tried covering it. I now have to put a few thousand into my vehicle just to try and break even on what I owe for it. The way it looks it’s as if they just covered the rust instead of dealing with it before hand. My tailgate also has filler in it which means there was some sort of cosmetic damage that wasn’t disclosed at the time of me buying it.

Best experience I've had buying a used car

I saw the car I wanted on-line and I called and spoke to Kenny Yaw. We arranged a test drive. Afterwards, a few minor issues were taken care of, I test drove the car again. It was obvious that he and Sammy took care of the things they said they would. I decided at that moment to buy the car. Kenny made experience of buying my new car absolutely drama free. The transaction was smooth, easy and well worth my while. Kenny and Sammy are very understanding. The experience got better after I paid for my car. As a bonus, and quite unexpectedly, I also got four new tires. Since I couldn't drive out of the lot with my new car, (I needed help in getting it home), they kept the car in their lot for two days for me. I've owned my new car for a few now and it's performing as expected and more. I couldn't be happier and I thanked them profusely for being kind and honest. The honesty of the business is a wonderful departure from the "hustle" of buying a car. Essentially, what you see is what you get. No nonsense. I would highly recommend Stone Road Auto to anyone in the market for a quality vehicle. Thank you again for everything Sammy and Kevin.

The vehicle I bought was fairly priced, and what they gave me for my trade-in was also fair. No haggling or bickering required. My husband and I were in the market for a new truck! We stopped into stone road auto on a Saturday and drove our new truck off the lot Monday! Quickest turn around we’ve ever received! Ken was GREAT! Bad Business

Was told yesterday a monthly payment at 66 mos... Picked up the car today and even asked up front if all was good as yesterday and the answer was yes. It was hidden by all the DMV, insurance, and warranty paperwork and they actually gave me a 72 mos loan at the same payment that was discussed previously. Didn't realize it until now...BUYER BEWARE!!!!! RIP OFF!!!

Hi Mike, there is a misunderstanding somehow and I tried reaching you many times but could not. Financing works this way: Lets say you are buying a car for $10000 and after taxes registration etc, out the door price is $11000. This amount does not change but interest rates can change and terms can change based on your credit and the banks. We will give you many options, such as what if you finance it for 48 months, what if 60 months, what if 72 months, and calculate the payments based on the term. You can select any number of months to pay for the loan, but end result is same for us, we will get a check for $11000 from the bank, and banks will make money from the interest. It will not make a difference to us if you select 66 months or 72 months, it will make a difference in your monthly payments. We have done everything we can to secure the lowest APR available, and even went above and beyond to secure a discounted loan rate for you by paying a substantial fee to the bank out of our pocket. I understand perception is the reality, but if you would stop by, I would be more than happy to share what your approval rate and term was, and what we did to lower your rate and what your savings were. I am truly sorry that you felt as if you were taken advantage of, but it is truly a perception, not the reality. We are not in the business to hurt or deceive anyone, and you always have the choice to come and see me, and I will do everything in my power to help you. Thank you. Sammy

2011 Ford Escape purchased 9.06.19

Ken was of EXCELLENT Manners in every aspect of purchasing my 2011 Ford escape.. He is very knowledgeable of all aspects of being friendly, calm and working to make buying a vehicle smooth. Bad cars!

Husband bought me a used BMW ..bad bad choice of “dealership”. It’s been in the shop more than I’ve driven it. They agreed to send it to another shop they deal with and they cracked the side with their lift and a few more damages. I would never ever recommend ANYONE dealing with this place. Husband should never have bought a car from the “side of the road dealer”! Live and learn!

First of all, I am sorry that the vehicle was not up to par to satisfy your expectations. You can come and see us at anytime if you would like to replace the vehicle. As you mentioned it in your review, we did authorize whatever needed to be fixed at a third party, a repair facility that billed us to fix whatever needed to be done. Many times we authorize customers to take the vehicles to their mechanics, or franchise dealerships, and we pay for the repair, but we can not be responsible if those shops damage your vehicle, it is not our shop or business. They should have stepped up to plate and pay for the damages they caused. Again, I am sorry for your bad experience and if we have the chance to serve you again, I will do everything I can to make it right.

Wonderful Service

Sam and Ken were wonderful helping us picking out our vehicle. Well worth the two hour drive to the dealership. Test drive, financing and inspection in two hrs.
