I had an excellent experience purchasing my vehicle at Lonestar Chevrolet, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, Gabriel Diaz and Mr. Jorge Esquivel were professional, respectful, and genuinely honest throughout the entire process. Gabriel made everything smooth and stress-free, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel pressured. Mr. Esquivel made sure the app set up on my phone for my suburban was done right and working properly. Their outstanding customer service and attention to detail made buying a car an enjoyable experience. I truly appreciated their transparency and willingness to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. We made an appointment to meet an agent to look at a particular car, we arrived an our representative was waiting with the car cooled down, this is June in south Texas, we drove the vehicle but were not in love with the new shade of red, and without a hesitation he was able to help us find the vehicle we were happy with in every way!

The experience once we walked in started off bad. The sales person that was supposed to meet us was not there even though I had received multiple text 20 mins before getting there. He apparently had to leave but a text message letting us know and who to ask for would have been nice. Once they figured out who would help us which was Nestor he was great. Next waiting for the finance person was horrible. We could see him in his office and he was so frustrated we were not looking forward to dealing with him. The other finance person Demarcus had assisted 2 other people while we were still waiting for our finance manager to assist us. I asked Nestor if we could be seen by Demarcus instead but it wasn’t an option. Once our finance manager got our file he did not hide how frustrated he was with doing our paperwork. Eventually Demarcus and Nestor were in the office with him and what ever went on Demarcus kindly grabbed our paper work and assisted us. After dealing with all this a few weeks later we are getting calls from Capitol One and the dealership regarding issues with Capitol One funding our loan. There was so much back and forth trying to get this resolved. It is finally resolved but now I am finding out that my credit was pulled again multiple times weeks after picking up the car I am guessing in an attempt to get funding but we were not told this would be done. I know I am in the situation of rebuilding my credit. With everything that happened I would have preferred a no and I would have moved on. Needless to say I would never go back to this dealership or refer anyone here.

The service work performed was good?I was disappointed by the lack of communication from the Service Rep, as several items could have been addressed while my vehicle was at their shop. I now have to schedule a second appointment to resolve the pending items.
