Approximately 3,200 model-year 2018 BMW 230i, M2 and M240i sedans,
and X3 SUVs are being recalled for their instrument panels.
The redesigned BMW X3 is a refined luxury SUV, but the biggest case against it might be another model in BMW’s showroom.
BMW revised its X3 compact SUV for 2018. Though its wheelbase grew
slightly, the backseat wasn't big enough for our rear-facing infant seat.
Approximately 741,000 BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, X3, X5 and Z4
vehicles are being recalled.

Approximately 85,000 model-year 2006-10 BMW X3 2.5i, 3.0i and
xDrive30i luxury SUVs are being recalled.
Approximately 6,800 2012-13 BMW X3 xDrive 28i and xDrive35i SUVs, and
M6 convertibles, and model-year 2013 M6 coupes are being recalled.
The redesigned 2018 X3 marks the third generation of BMW's small SUV.
Available in xDrive30i and M40i variants, it hits dealers in November.
A slew of SUVs have spotty headlight performance, the Insurance Institute
for Highway Safety said. Just two out of 37 models had top scores.
