2019 Cadillac CT6

GM is recalling more than 90,000 Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles over a transmission issue that may cause the front wheels to lock up.

A just-released study by AAA indicates that partial self-driving technologies found in mass-market vehicles today could be less effective in real-world scenarios than on a closed test track.

Approximately 464,000 Cadillac CT6 sedans and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks are being recalled.

Cadillac has announced a large expansion of 70,000 additional miles to its network of roads that are suitable for the use of its Super Cruise hands-free driving system.

In a pivotal announcement, GM announced plans for proactive steps to cut 
 workforce, shift investment toward trucks and SUVs, and put a cork in the 
 pipeline for five plants starting in 2019.

Approximately 15,800 model-year 2018-19 Cadillac CT6 sedans and 
 Escalade ESV SUVs, Chevrolet Suburban SUVs and Volt hybrids, and GMC 
 Yukon XL SUVs are being recalled.
