2023 Lexus LS 500

On the heels of a recall affecting a number of its electric vehicles, Toyota now is recalling approximately 591,000 vehicles over an issue with instrument panels.

In a battery of tests evaluating driver-assist features for seven different parameters, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave not one of 14 tested systems its top rating of good.

Lexus chose to do light updates for the model-year 2023 LS 500 and LS 500h sedans but focused on where it counts, with new technology leading the charge.
