On the heels of a recall affecting a number of its electric vehicles, Toyota now is recalling approximately 591,000 vehicles over an issue with instrument panels.

Between the Grand Highlander and TX, there are some 158,000 vehicles that will need to be repaired. Production is expected to resume by the end of October.

Toyota is recalling some 145,000 examples of its Grand Highlander and Lexus TX SUVs for an issue involving the vehicles’ airbags.

These cars offer panoramic moonroofs or sunroofs either as standard or optional equipment for 2024.
