Ford is recalling a population of plug-in hybrid variants of its Escape SUV and Lincoln Corsair SUV over an issue with the vehicles’ high-voltage battery that may cause a fire.

Ford is expanding a recall from late 2024 that involves more than 20,500 examples of its Escape and Lincoln Corsair plug-in hybrid SUVs and the risk of a fire.
