Mitsubishi is recalling more than 91,600 Outlander and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid SUVs over an issue that involves the vehicles’ liftgate gas spring cylinders.
Bidirectional charging aims to put an EV’s battery to work, whether it’s to power a home during an outage or send power back to the grid en masse.
In addition to the upgraded S-AWC system, Mitsubishi says the 2022 Outlander PHEV will benefit from further motor output improvements, increased battery capacity and improved driving range.
