Mitsubishi is recalling more than 91,600 Outlander and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid SUVs over an issue that involves the vehicles’ liftgate gas spring cylinders.

The 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander starts at $26,990 with destination — $900 more than the outgoing model-year 2020 Outlander.

Mitsubishi is still selling cars in the U.S. and is planning updates to its SUV-heavy lineup in 2021.
