Ram will recall more than 600,000 heavy-duty pickup trucks to reprogram their emissions-control systems after it was discovered that the trucks contain software that allowed them to emit more than the acceptable level of nitrogen oxide.

Approximately 693,000 2013-14 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks are being recalled for their tailgates.
