Tesla's Sketch Pad feature is part of a larger, far more comprehensive suite of upgrades that come with Tesla's new 8.1 software upgrade.

Tesla has released the 8.1 version of its software, and it includes a big 
 update that adds some semi-autonomous driving features.

Tesla is sticking to an aggressive timetable with the upcoming electric-
 powered Model 3, now scheduled to go into production in July.
