The following list highlights the 10 most efficient electric cars of the 2022 model year. Where more than one version of a given model qualifies, we selected the most efficient version.

For 2022, a total of 101 vehicles earned an IIHS Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick Plus award, which is up 12% over 2021, when 90 vehicles made the list.
