Volvo announced that its new small SUV is set to be revealed in the fall.

We last Car Seat Checked the Volvo XC90 for the 2016 model year, the 
 year it was redesigned. Not too much changes for 2017.

All-new Volvos after 2019 will be mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully 
 electric, eliminating vehicles powered by internal combustion alone.

Approximately 1,300 model-year 2017 Volvo XC90 luxury SUVs are being 
 recalled for a micro gas generator.

A slew of SUVs have spotty headlight performance, the Insurance Institute 
 for Highway Safety said. Just two out of 37 models had top scores.
