Black bowtie edition
I bought the colorado because of the sporty midnight edition package...ive had it about a month now and it's pretty cool. I have the crew cab short box just right for me. My only complaint is the interiors could use some improvements and there's no disk players Other than that....cool ride.

Not a small truck guy...but I LOVE it!
I've put about 1000 miles on my 2017 Colorado Crew Cab 4x4. It has the LT (mid-level) trim with the Duramax diesel. First, my only complaint is the lack of adjustability in the 4-way power driver seat. The seat bottom tilts too far back so it's uncomfortable on my thighs on the front edge of the seat. In order to remedy that the seat needs to be adjusted to it's highest position, which in and of itself is fine, and that makes it difficult to get into and out of the truck because the steering wheel doesn't tilt upwards far enough and gets in the way. It's a minor issue and certainly not a deal killer. But I felt like I had to complain about something! The fit and finish on the truck is really quite good. There is some bounce in the hood on the driver's side corner near the windshield. I've tried to adjust it but it didn't do any good. I'm going to have the dealer check it out first time I'm in for maintenance. Other than that it's on par with pretty much anything I've seen on the road. Some nice touches are the anti-chip coating along the underside edges of the truck, front to rear. I drive frequently on gravel roads and that's a big deal to me. I also really like the easy opening/closing tailgate. There is ample room in the backseat for two average sized adults, 3 in a pinch. Good visibility from the driver's position and all controls and infotainment system buttons are within easy reach. As a matter of fact, most things can be accessed from the steering wheel. The cloth covering on the seats is nice looking but very utilitarian. Looks like it will hold up well. We have dogs and take them with us on various outings so a durable interior is important. It gets hot here in the summer and the AC in this truck is fantastic. It reminds me of the units in the GM cars of the 70s that would turn the interior into a freezer! It's great. The standard stereo/MyLink system is adequate for what I need. The sound isn't the best I've heard but it's good. That's not at the top of my list of important features. There are 4 USB ports and two power ports mixed between the front and back. The Bluetooth works great. This truck is VERY quiet. Absolutely no wind noise and very little road noise. Looking around under the truck and under the hood it's apparent Chevy spent a lot of time working on deadening a lot of sound. There's insulation everywhere and there's a ton of sound-deadening material under the truck. It works, too. The real star of this truck is under the hood. The 2.8L baby Duramax is a stellar performer. It's got plenty of power, especially lower end torque. It won't win any sprints but you won't be lacking for passing or towing power, either. And when you consider it more than adequately powers this truck and gets the mileage it does, it's just amazing. So far, in a mixture of about 60/40 (hwy/city) driving in hilly northern Idaho I'm averaging 29.2 MPG. In my world, that's fantastic and that's exactly why this truck was at the top of my list. And I'm a guy that's never had a use for anything smaller/lighter than a full-size, long-bed 3/4 ton truck. I no longer have a need for a heavy duty truck but the Colorado is the best of both worlds...a truck for occasional towing/hauling with the efficiency of most smaller or economy cars. With 21 gallons of fuel you can go a long way on a tank. Last time I topped off the trip computer told me I could 627 miles to empty! So far I'm handily beating the EPA combined MPG estimate for this truck. All in all, this truck isn't perfect but it's the best I've seen in a long time and the only smaller truck I would even consider since no other offers a diesel engine.

Colorado truck 4 x 4
Very fuel efficient. Comfortable ride. Have not had the opportunity to try out the 4 wheel drive system. Handles equally well on the highway and on rough unpaved roads.

I purchased the Colorado as I wanted intermediate design and affordability. It is easier to handle then my 2013 Silverado, plus better gas mileage .I prefer Ameslan made over foreign. THANK YOU

Cool Truck
Really love this truck, the ZR2 package looks so cool, not just like every other Colorado. This is a premium package and the only thing GM needs to do is load this model up, paying a premium price should have had all the bells and whistles. Still love it and enjoy driving it
