Great Vehicle
I really like the Equinox because it's comfortable to drive & has a lot of great features. There are a few things that bug me. I wish it had a cd player so I didn't have to scroll through the dial to find something good to listen to. Also, I've noticed a bit of rattling near the steering column...like plastic rattling. Other than that, it is an extremely comfortable car & I definitely feel safe while driving it.

I?ve been eyeing the Equinox for a few years
Plenty of headroom. Love the side mirror ligts for cars in your blind spot. Like the keyless entry/start. Appreciate the second row seats folding down flat. Seats are comfy as well.

Great car
This is the best car I drive in a long time, may last one was a CRV, before it was a f fusion 240hp,,,,but this chevy is better. Noiseless, extreme reliable, very , very powerfull, very ggood value , simply great! Just one thing, the gear shifts could be better positioned.

Great for the price!
Although I bought the base model which has a v4 engine, I hardly notice any times where I feel like the engine is being too stressed by the vehicles curb weight. The entire interior/exterior design is extremely stylish and I am very satisfied with my purchase! NOTE: Compared to almost every other vehicle that I looked at, this had the most tech and gadgets i.e. backup camera, touchscreen, etc.

Most uncomfortable car I've ever owned.
The 2018 Equinox would have been probably the perfect vehicle for what I was looking for except the front seat bottoms are very short. I don't know how I missed it on the test drive, but after about an hour driving it my legs physically hurt. I measured them and they are only 18" from the back rest to the longest point (center). Being that they're kind of toilet bowl shaped, where your legs sit is even shorter. I turned in a 39 mo lease 33 month early and took a royal bath money wise. 9K to be exact. That and the 12 gallon fuel tank made this vehicle a bit undesirable.

I had a 2015 did not have any problems with it.
it drives and rides nice has all the features I wanted. It gets very good gas milage. I love the heated seats my other Equinox did not have this. It handles very nice on the roads. I love the color it's called pepper dust.

Uncomfortable Seats/Reduction of Features
We leased a 2015 Equinox LT and it was very comfortable and had a lot of features for the lower model. We just recently turned it in and got a 2018 LT Model. While it has more power with the turbo engine and better fuel economy while sporting a manual AWD option, it is missing a few things that were standard on the 2015. The driver's seat is no longer partial power adjustment and is now all manual with no lumbar support. I didn't think much of this at point of lease but now that we have driven some trips, my spouse and I have both found that the front seats are extremely uncomfortable and a bit smaller than the 2015. This is going to be a challenge for me especially since I have chronic back issues that are inoperable. I can't actually ride in the vehicle for more than an hour without getting out to alleviate my back pain. This is, of course, not noticeable on a test drive unless the dealership lets you take it home for the weekend and that's not going to happen. Now to the other features or lack thereof. Our 2015 had Sirius radio standard and the 2018 does not, it features AT&T wifi that you have to setup while sitting in the car (24 years working in IT Tech Design has taught me that this is a terrible setup environment), we really enjoyed the Sirius and it is simply not available. Now we have to use Pandora on our phones and waste data. Ok, so as for the iPod connection. The 2015 had the connection for iPod or other audio input hidden nicely inside the center console between the seats. For whatever unknown reason Chevy thought it best to stick it in the little cubbie hole in front of the gearshift so now there's always an extra device along with at least one mobile phone in there and the hole is about the size of a pack of travel tissues. On to the front storage. The 2015 had storage compartments on either side of the center console down by your legs. the 2018 has little catch nets, again, about the size of a pack of travel tissues. The ones in the 2015 could hold my 8" tablet. On to the back seat. The 2015 model had an adjustable forward and back rear seat to increase cargo room. The 2018 has "layflat" seats (which they don't lay completely flat so that's a lie). While this could be useful for some, why take away the slider adjuster for the seat position??? It was great for trips. Even when it was up all the way, the back seat still had plenty of room for average adults to sit in it. This will definitely cause some distress come vacation season. Overall, the vehicle looks nice and handles better than our 2015, but the missing features and poop placement of some others, Chevy needs to go back to the drawing board and rethink some of their seemingly "fly by night" interior re-designs.

My wife fell in love with it!
This new vehicle has been outstanding in looks, comfort, and gas mileage! The seats are very comfortable, and the backseat provides easy access for getting my grandchildren in and out of their car seats!
