Great improvements made from the 2016 Equinox

If you are looking for a roomy 5 seater on the market right now, please consider the 2018 Equinox! I own the LT AWD and I'm looking forward to putting that all-wheel-drive to the test during the winter season. I owned the 2016 Equinox and there are so many improvements. There is a noticeable increase in accelerating power. The engine sounds better, but is also quieter when you're driving, which is another plus. The exterior is sleek and the interior more refined. I am looking forward to driving this for the next 23 months!

Horrible blindspot

Attractive, good performance and comfortable, I was happy with my equinox for a couple of weeks. There's a horrible blindspot on the right/passenger side. I haven't had an accident for over 15 years, but now I've had 2 in less than 2 months of getting it, one in a parking lot incident and one merging off the highway. Maybe it's easier to see for taller people. I'm guessing I'd like the vehicle if I had the safety side mirrors, but I didn't realize they were so dang necessary for this car. I also would probably gotten the mirrors if they were available without getting the full safety package, even without knowing the problem, but now I have a lease on a car that I hate.

My Second Equinox

I bought a brand new Equinox in 2006. I kept it for 11 years with minimal maintenance. I just traded it in for the 2018 LT model and I love it. The only complaint I had about the 2006 was the poor turning radius that made it difficult to get in and out of parking spaces. The 2018 does not have this issue. I'm hoping this car will last as long as my first one.

So Far So Good

Just bought this vehicle 2 weeks ago so I can?t speak to the reliability. But for the money, this vehicle has everything we wanted. More room and it?s pretty cool. Love how the dash looks like an iPad. It?s definitely comfortable and drives well. And the sunroof rocks. Good buy!

Awesome suv

My wife and I were all set to purchase a new nissan rogue when we stopped into our local chevy dealer to get a second opinion on our trade in but while we were there we test drove our 2018 equinox premier and fell in love and drove out with it that same night. It's an and suv without feeling like a truck to my wife.

beautiful and comfy...love it!!!

This car met all my needs. It is beautiful, plenty of leg room, rear camera, and has the ability to stop without my help. It is just the right size, great gas mileage and wonderful for long trips. It is just the right height...easy to get in and out of.

Best car I have owned

It meets all of my needs. It's a little go getter SUV. It's great on gas and I love the heated seats. The remote start is really nice as well.

Great for a smaller vehicle

This car is very comfortable. We got the Premier edition with leather seats and all the bells and whistles. As being mostly a passenger, it was very important to me to be able to have the same controls on the passenger seat as the driver has, since I have fibromyalgia and riding for longer periods of time makes me very sore. So this allows me to readjust things a bit to help with that. I do wish it had more room for all the little essentials I like to keep on hand is about my only complaint. Like the gas mileage, as compared to the Silverado pickup we turned in as it's lease was up. Plenty of storage in the back for us. I would recommend a rubber mat or net to keep groceries from going all over the place. It's a peppy little thing. Like the Wi-Fi hotspot and the navigation stuff on it. Along with being able to link our phones up to the media center.
