New 2018 Equinox.

I have only had the automobile for a week and have only put 600 miles on the speedometer so right now it's a Cadillac with a bow tie on the front. It is all that I ever expected and more . Great looks and well designed interior and appointments. It drives like a sports car but rides much better. I was worried that the engine (1.5) would be low on power but to an old man of 75 it is a rocket. Great car, great dealer and sales staff. If it is half as reliable as the last chevrolet I bought in 2003 (LS Blazer) I will more than pleased.

Great SUV

After looking at about 5 other SUVs I chose the Equinox. the first thing I liked was how comfortable the seats were. It handles very well in the city and on the freeway. I love the feature that saves gas when you stop at the lights I just returned from a 200 mile trip and loved the way it drove..I love all the new tech features even though my young granddaughter has. to help me.

Needs some beautification!

I recently had an opportunity to drive the new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox for about a week putting on approximately 400 miles. The gas mileage was awesome. That being said, it didn't have the get up and go that my Ford Escape has but then the engine sizes are different. The driver's seat was very comfortable and the cargo area is ample for this type of vehicle. What I missed on this car was the exterior decor. It was white which I like but it was very plain. Nothing makes it "stand out" in a crowd. Not a lot of chrome or outside features that could make it more attractive. I currently own a Ford Escape which is what I am comparing it to. The vehicle I test drove stickered at a little over $27,000.00. As far as recommending to a friend, I would say, test drive the Escape as well then decide for yourself.

Great crossover

Plenty of leg room and above the head room (tall person here). Nice back up camera. Nice hidden storage above the spare tire. I can sometimes feel the automatic shifting though and it can be jerky.

test drive

The 1.5 just didn't come up to our expectations. Just not enough get up and go. Love the new body style. Seats wasn't as comfortable as they should be.

Great little SUV

I love this SUV, it is easy to handle and fun to drive. I am getting better than advertised gas mileage which is huge to me after driving a pick up truck!

Great SUV

This is the second equinox I leased and I love it! Not only is it reliable and never had any mechanical issues with the truck but it is also a sexy looking truck! One down fall is I don't have a bike rack with this one and it looks better with the bike rack. Another down fall with this one as well as the 2015 is the trunk side windows is a huge blind spot. They should be bigger to give the driver a better view while merging.

My Second Equinox that I owned

I am still adjusting to my new Equinox's because of the habit of the old one. I do not have to adjust in the car anymore like I used to do. When I sit things the way I want them the car will remind me of certain things like you left the keys in the car. put your foot on the brakes to start car and many other features. I am still discovering features like just found the adjustments button for the sound even though this I could have read in the book easily but I am the know it all type of person okay. I had to write this review because I am satisfied with this new car . Love Equinox.
