Tech needs improvement
I?ll start with the positive. I absolutely love the sport package appearance on my 2017 Escape Titanium. The rims, the black accents and the leather trimmed bucket seats are all awesome. I get compliments all the time. However, I really wish I waited until a 2.0 L Ecoboost was available on a lot near me. The 1.5 L is capable, but it?s a little sluggish on hills and it?s full power doesn?t catch until at least 15 seconds of accelerating on highway. The fuel economy on the 1.5 L is WAY below what is advertised, which was the only reason I justified getting the 1.5. The tech and software package is a nightmare. While I really appreciate Apple CarPlay (minus not being able to use Google Maps, but that?s on Apple), I?ve brought it into the dealer four times since purchasing in May 2017 for problems with the Hill Start Assist Brake, Sync and the back up camera interface. The dealer has been great during these problems but it still is disheartening. Overall, it?s really pretty but it?s given me far more headaches in 5 months than my faithful 08 Ford Focus S ever did during our 9 years together. I still would recommend this car, but with the 2.0 L Ecoboost and with an extended warranty if you plan to keep it longer than 3 years.

Ride is a dream!
Truly more spacious than it looks! Very sleek in design. Features included are incredible with the price. Very smooth, quiet ride. Mileage is AMAZING! Living "in the sticks" am amazed at how easily it tackles these hills. AND a 4wd to boot!!! IN LOVE WITH MY NEW RIDE!

Good vehicle
So far, seems like a good vehicle. It is a little difficult to get the seating and tilt steering in a good position, but no big deal.

Best car I have ever owned
This SUV more than meets my needs. It is roomy with a huge cargo area, has a stylish interior and exterior and has a really zippy engine. I was surprised at the amount of power from a 4 cylinder engine. I previously has a Hyundai Tucson, which also had a 4 cylinder engine, and compared to the Escape, the Tucson engine felt that it was really dogging it whenever I had to accelerate. Most importantly, I feel very safe in this SUV. Great value for the price, too. Good job, Ford!

My Dream Car
We owned a 2001 Ford Escape for 16 & 1/2 years. We unfortunately lost it to a recent rear end collision. We really wanted another wonderful & reliable Escape, so we got a 2017. It is truly an amazing CAR! We are so surprised that the 4 cylinder turbo charged engine is just as powerful as our previous V6 engine was. The Titanium model is so luxuriously appointed. We now can take those few 7 hour road trips a year, to visit the grandchildren, in comfort and style. ...the gas mileage is great too! We LOVE our wonderful new ESCAPE!

Ive only had the new car 2 weeks, but so far very satisfied . Its a great size, love being able to fold down seat, to be able to transport things. The 8 in screen and back up camera is great.

Good Ride and Value
The 2017 Ford Escape S was a great car to test out. It is stylish and comes with some great standard features like the backup camera. The ride was smooth and the vehicle has great acceleration. I felt like I was too low to the ground and too close to the front of the car although I would not say it is uncomfortable. I would not recommend this car for people over 6ft tall. There was decent cargo space but not a lot of storage space inside otherwise. This small SUV was a great contender.
