Love this car

Exceeds my expectations -- has features that are nice extra like a sunglasses compartment and a foot rest for left foot -- many compartments in the front that keeps car organized and neat -- I'm a larger person and find the car extremely comfortable -- I liked it better than Sonata with ease of getting in and out. Controls are easy to work.

You get exactly what you pay for

I paid 23K for the car and it was the "second trim", I have a back up camera, Bluetooth, apple car play and little screen in between odometers but I am unable to check my tire pressure inside of the car which is what I really hoped for. For the most part I despise ECO mode the pick up is terrible but I am aware it's not made for that, I love sport mode probably the best feature out of the car honestly outside out of the incredible gas mpg. It only takes $24 dollars to fill my tank and that the full tank last me about a half a week, I communicate 60 miles in total back and forth to work including my 65 miles back and forth to school and running errands in between, it's not bad ! I definitely say this is a first car kind of car, it's safe, it's nice looking and it isn't too fast. Not a gas guzzler and everything is hands free (I command Siri to text a contact and it doesn't efficiently with little to no errors) . The back is pretty spacious as well, I can push my seats down if I had a large item to put in my car.

like driving a luxury car without the price tag.

This is my 3rd Elantra. I think it is a wonderful car. The main thing I would change is the sluggishness of it when you need some speed to pull out or pass someone.

My Car

Generally I really like the car. Some minor problems: getting into and out of the car is a little difficult... more so than I would prefer but not enough, obviously, to have put a Kybosh on the deal. Leg and head room, once in the car, are fine. A/C works good and we are experiencing triple digit heat at the moment here on 1 August 2017. Visibility is excellent. I do wish that the driver's side door would stay open when I open the door instead of shutting when there is the slightest wind or on a grade where the driver's side is a little higher than the front passenger side. The incremental "stops" don't really work worth a darn and in a good wind there is absolutely no assistance from whatever mechanism is supposed to help hold the door in the full and in the partly open positions. This particular problem is not such a minor deal because I am reminded of it nearly every time I get out of the vehicle. The ride and suspension qualities of the vehicle are really good and much better than my previous vehicles. The sound system works fairly well but I do wish I had Bass and Treble controls, Fade in and Balance controls... all of which I had on my previous vehicle, a Nissan Versa. The trunk room is excellent in the Elantra... a definite plus. The folding rear seats make the trunk even more adaptable to different load situations. Mileage is OK, but not as good as I had hoped. I am getting about 28 to 29 MPG in town. My Versa had a full manual transmission and was easier to stop and go, but then again I suspect it had a much lighter curb weight as well and it was not near as comfortable as the Elantra... something I am sure I will notice on long drives.

Totally Awesome A Dream Come True

I have a limited edition which is totally loaded it has everything you could possibly want including touch screen, heated seats, leather interior and much, much more. I love the color I have which is electric blue. The car gets excellent gas mileage and drivers like a dream come true. I will definitely keep this car all the way through to at least the 100,000 miles which it is covered under warranty. I definitely recommend this car to everyone who wants a car that will be a pure joy to own and drive. God has inspired someone greatly when He created this toy which I believe whether you are male or female you will truly love it. Five stars all the way through.

Love this car!

I have zero complaints for this car! The inside is roomy and comfortable, the outside is also eye catching. The first car I've owned that I haven't had regrets for buying.

Pleasantly surprised

I tested a Toyota Corolla first, but I wasn't impressed by the car at all. The people at the Toyota dealership didn't know what they were doing on the top of everything. When I and my wife tested the Elantra we were truly impressed by the features and performance of the car. Amazing car, great value for the money.

Best New Car Purchase

This new car fits my requirements in all areas. The warranty is the best in the nation, the oil change service is most generous and there are many many great perks. The interior is comfortable and all functions are user friendly. I am enjoying this new automobile!

Best Car On The Market

I bought my daughter an Elantra and it was just the perfect size for her and my granddaughter. The seats were very comfortable, in the back. It had more leg room than I expected. The trunk space was enormous and provided more room than I originally thought (fits the baby's stroller perfectly). After test driving this filing, we were totally convinced that this was the vehicle for her. The drive was so smooth and quite. My daughter loves her 2017 Elantra and we are definitely customers of Hyundai for life.

Perfect car for the price!

I used to own Sonata, and when I decided to downgrade to Elantra I though it would be hard. But it wasn't. Elantra is just smaller version of that, and I love the comfort and handling. Specially by comparing the price I pay and savings on the gas usage.
