2017 Hyundai ELANTRA consumer reviews

I've only had this car for one month but so far the gas, speed, size and color of the vehicle is exactly what I was looking for. I usually prefer a bigger body style car but the Elantra SE is a good size for what I need it for and so far I've been happy with my purchase!!

The new look exterior, and interior space influenced me to try this well known brand I was immediately impressed with the smooth ride and handling. Also the acceleration is better than expected. I got the smart tech package which offers some useful perks. Only drawback is giving up a CD player for digital files which are just not the same quality. Other drawbacks are minor, like not really a lot of storage options and space for small items. Also the low to ground body causes problems in areas with high curbs like where I live. Prone to easy scratches, and any body work on this vehicle is very expensive per the way it is built.

I love this car inside and out. Gas mileage average is 38mpg. Lots of back seat room for my kids even though it's a smaller car. Lots of extras available and I highly recommend them all. Only downfall was comfort of seats. They are pretty stiff. I travel across the state once a month and could use a softer seat.

Fell in love with my new car as soon as we test drove it. Plenty of leg room, all around in the car.

No flippin cruise control. Wish I'd have noticed that during my test drive. How is that even possible?! A 2017 Asian made vehicle without cruise! I didn't even realize it until after I left the dealership. They refused to do anything about it. So now I'm stuck with a "sub" base level car. I drive 300+ miles a day, so this is super inconvenient. The seat is too soft, gauge and radio display is equivalent to "dial-up" internet. This car's saving grace is that it has a good room, great gas mileage, looks pretty nice, has an excellent warranty, and although very basic is a very well-made car. Road noise is almost nonexistent, the suspension is very smooth and the steering is awesome. The car handles very well and acceleration isn't too bad.

My car is reliable and safe. It's stylish and drives smooth. I have yet to experience any problems with my 4 different Hyundai Elantra's that I have owned or leased.

I had a car with 260k miles, windows didn't roll down, no AC and the bottom drug the ground so anything would have been an upgrade but I absolutely love my new car! It's very stylish looking & the mpg is awesome! I went from 19mpg to my now 26 city 36 hwy and it's wonderful! It's very roomy and all the perks came with the basic model!

Everything about the car is wonderful except..... The sun visors are too narrow to be useful for people of average height. Not a great area to cut costs when everything else is more terrific than expected.

Great compart to drive and sit. Great value for money. Average is excellent and comfortable to drive

This car is very easy to drive. It has a smooth ride. lots of space inside. lastly it is very stylish. I love it!!!
