Economic Sports Car 2017 Elantra Sport (base)
The new Elantra Sport is a great addition to our family. When considering family choices with testosterone it wasn't easy to find something that sat in the middle of both ends of the spectrum. I am not a mechanic or a tech, I would consider myself a car enthusiast though and although my knowledge is "average Joe" to others - spending considerable amounts of time in and around vehicles has helped open my eyes to a lot of things. The 2017 Elantra Sport DCT came in as our family's pick because it's got a sporty look and feel to it for the alone time and a roomy, cozy and nice looking interior for family time. The most important thing is my daughter, safety was a huge selling point when it came to our vehicle choice and the "Superstructure" Hyundai now offers is a big deal in a world where car's to me resemble tin cans. The three drive modes normal, sport and eco make a few adjustments to the engine and they are adjustments you notice. Heated steering wheel and seats was a big selling point for my other half and a 201hp engine was a big selling point for me. The power is definitely there when you need it. Shift paddles on the steering wheel compliments the sport suspension for an all around sporty drive. The exhaust system has a really nice growl to it however when you close all the windows and turn on eco the only noise you hear is the road. I am assuming that the noise is because of the standard 18' rims sitting on EXTREMELY low profile tires and lets be honest when you slap "Sport" on a car, you want to feel the road you are driving on. Lots of room in the back for the kids, touch screen display with Apple Car play, dual USB chargers for his and hers Sirius XM is nice to have too (I'm not an android guy but it has Android Auto). The sound system could use a little bit of work it's not that loud however I chose the base model sport opposed to the "Sport Tech" which comes with an Infiniti sound system. In our situation where I was considering getting a sports car and my fiancee was considering an SUV this came in as a great compromise and saved us thousands a month as we dont need two vehicles so finding one that sports a nice look with a few extra horses and all the comforts of a family car I have to say we are very happy we spend the extra money for the Elantra Sport

A Pleasant Surprise
I owned a 2001 Pontiac Firebird, but I sadly had to get a new car because it was beyond hope of repair. I wanted a "practical car" because of gas mileage, so I did lots of research and found the elantra. I was glad to have found an eco-friendly/budget friendly car that was still nice to look at. I honestly didn't expect much from the performance side of this car, but I was pleasantly surprised how it handled curves (it reminded me more of my firebird than of my boyfriend's versa). Oh and you may want to give the sport mode a try ;) 4 cylinders can surprise you now days

Best car on the market for the value!
I had owned a 2000 Hyundai Elantra for many year and was excited to purchase a new one. The 2017 model highly exceeded my expectations. You almost feel as though you're driving a luxury vehicle! The exterior is sharp, and the availability of features is outstanding. Not to mention the fuel economy is great! I would highly recommend this to anyone unsure of what their next car purchase should be!

A great choice for my daily commute
I drive 80 miles daily back and forth to work, so my cars need to be reliable, reasonably comfortable, and efficient. My little Elantra checks all those boxes. I had done a test drive with the old body style 6 years ago, and felt cramped, uncomfortable and unimpressed with the experience. What a difference 6 years have made! I went from my 2012 Sonata to the 2017 Elantra, and barely noticed a size difference, except in the trunk. The Elantra could use more power, it does feel a bit underwhelming halfway up when attempting a long, steep climb up a mountain, but otherwise handles beautifully everything I've thrown its way. It has all sorts of nice touches like the keyless entry and push button start, good connectivity with my phone, hands-free trunk, sunroof, etc. All this for about $200 less per month than the Sonata. If I had to, I'd choose it all over again.

Liberty Hundai
It's actually less than a month, but so far this car is excellent. The Salesman, Ray Arroyo is far and away the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. Knowledgeable, caring goes the extra mile for his customers. Thanks, Al Francesco. Prefer not to

very safe and reliable vehicles. a few years ago we had bought a new sante fe and a few days later we got hit head on by drunk driver. we both made it out alive with few broken bones but had it not been for the safety features my husband for sure wouldn't be with us. Great vehicles
