Surpassed My Expectations

The Subaru Outback 6cyl Limited is a great vehicle. It is sporty and luxurious looking at the same time. The ride is very smooth, and resonds well. The eyesight technology is amazing. There is nothing I would change on this car, and lots of room for passengers, or if you want to load in lots of stuff. I really like how the bottom of the bumpers and door panels are black - less of those little nicks and road dirt to show up. The GPS screen is large, and not diffucult to navigate. I feel like I am riding in a luxury auto. Very happy customer!

Smooth Rider

Really like the way this car handles on and off road. It is very quiet especially during acceleration with the six-cylinder motor. The transmission works very well...you hardly know it is a CVT. Paddle shifters work just like they should. Not crazy about all the electronics. It is a steep learning curve to figure out how all the things work. However, everything works well except the lane keep system. It will steer you back into the lane but it then steers you to the other side of the lane. So, you get this bouncing back and forth going on. It is easier to just turn it off and pay attention to where you are going. Styling is underwhelming, especially the racks which are just wind noisemakers to me. For me, it is a great road car as well as going offroad on occasions. As my wife says, it is smooth as butter.

Comfortable and roomy

The car is roomy enough to carry a large wheelchair for my special needs sister. It is sporty enough to carry my 16ft kayaks on top.

Most reliable Ive owned.

Great for our family. Such a perfect size. The ride is very smooth, and quite comfortable. There is little road noise, even when traveling at freeway speeds. Cargo space is amazing with the second row up. With cargo space like this, I am able to haul in some new piece of furniture with ease.

Exceeded expectations for performance

Very comfortable, exceptional ride for an SUV type of vehicle, performed well in city and highway driving. Great visibility and safety features.

very happy with my purchase.

This is the first "foreign" car I have ever owned. Surprisingly, it is more American made than some of the American autos. This car is loaded with technical options which I have had fun learning what each button does. Given all the options and the auto style, I believe I received great value for my money. The more I drive this car the more impressed I am with it.

Old mans SUV

Subaru Outback Touring 3.6r : Everything is well made. Body Style is outdated. Interior is outstanding. 6Cyl Boxer engine is smooth, has adequate power, and fuel mileage is acceptable. CVT Transmission is very smooth. Vehicle is quiet & handles well. Braking appears to be In-Adequate for the weight of the vehicle (3902 LBS). AC & Heat Adequate.Expensive SUV.($40000)

A superior product

This is my second 3.6R Outback Limited. My 2012 will remain in the family. The 2018 has eyesight safety features and android auto and a much improved Navigation system as well as some nice styling cues and an automatic hatch, key-less ignition, some more sound insulation and a CVT transmission for better gas mileage. The 2.5 model is also nice (and less expensive) I just enjoyed my peppy 3.6 on my 2012 and didn't want to go back.
