This SUV is spacious and comfortable. It’s beautiful on the inside and out. I have waited to purchase this car for over a year and it was worth the wait!

It’s like a affordable version of Audi Q5
Tiguan 2018 is so much better than older version Tiguan. Now it’s bigger and exact the same size with Audi Q5. Looking awesome, very comfortable. Maybe less engine power compared to Audi, but totally no problem with regular daily use!

The best car I’ve ever had
This vehicle is meeting my needs and is very spacey on the inside. I also like that it has the ability to switch to different driving modes (sport, normal, and snow). I also love the turbo speed that it provides

All around great vehicle!
I've had my Tiguan SE a month now and have about 1200 miles on it. My average mileage is about 29 - 30 mpg and I haven't been babying it. It's got great pickup from a standing start, and passing from 50 to 80 mph. MPG is based on usage, not the average mpg readout on the instrument panel, which is fairly accurate as well. I traded in a 13 year old 2006 Golf with manual tranny and was a bit dubious about the automatic, even after test driving 3 different Tiguans. Now I love it. The dual clutch automatic is super smooth. In town where the lights can hold a long time I leave the engine stop/start turned on, but in stop & go traffic I disengage it so the engine remains on, and put the transmission in sport mode for instant response. No lag. Nothing scary. It's quick. I haven't tried manual mode yet...no need to. Infotainment system is great. My wife likes it better than her 2018 CRV system. Very easy to use. I'm still working my way thru all the features. I wasn't terribly interested in the panoramic sun roof as we almost never open the moonroof on the CRV (too bright), but now I'm really glad I got it. The tinting is deep enough to keep sun glare at a minimum and it has a fabric cover if needed. Middle row passengers go nuts over it. They say it makes the already roomy seat seem even bigger. Speaking of seats, I haven't used the third row, even with the grandchildren. They (the seats, not the kids) stay folded under to give me cargo space. The childseat latch tethers are very easy to see and use, thank goodness. Quiet. Very quiet on rough paved back roads that I drive a lot. VW's attention to detail on this car is excellent in all respects. The only item it doesn't have that I'd really like is a compass. (Are you listening VW?) The SE trim line doesn't have adaptive cruise control or lane keep assist. If you do a lot of freeway long distance driving you might consider the SEL. (PS: I'm not knocking my wife's CRV at all. It's her third one and previous version literally saved her life in a terrible crash, i.e. headlight socket at the front door post and she walked away unscratched. It's a great vehicle too.) I got a great deal too. Best $25k I've ever spent on a car.

First VW and not the last.
Words can?t describe the comfort, style and handling of my Tiguan. My daughter in law owns one and I was hooked the moment I saw hers. Fast forward 5 months I now have mine too.

Love driving again!
I have owned and loved VWs in the past but needed a larger SUV than the old Tiguan. I have most recently owned Hondas and replaced a much loved older CRV with the smaller HR-V in 2017. After a year I was unhappy with the car and started researching small to mid-size SUVs. I saw the larger Tiguan model but almost didn't test drive it as the reviews were not as high as some other similar models. SO glad I finally drove one. I purchased a 2018 SE and can't say enough good things about it. The quality of the interior is so far above the competition. The entertainment system and sound quality is awesome. Comfortable heated seats, a reclining 2nd row, and stowaway 3rd row seating! I am still "learning" the car and all the added technology and safety features. It gives quick warning when you are backing up and a car gets too close and the lane/blind spot warning is a big help. The car ride is very comfortable and quiet, and the white silver exterior is beautiful! The only thing I don't recommend is the start-stop system but VW has an easily accessible shut off button that I automatically engage when I start the car. I can't say much about reliability as I've only had it two weeks, but with a 6 year, 72,000 mile bumper to bumper fully transferrable warranty, I am a happy owner.

Great SUV with 2.0 Turbo & 8 speed Automatic
Very good vehicle overall. Comfortable and plenty of room in the 2 seat configuration. The 4-motion AWD system is great and easy to change as needed. Navigation, phone interface and radio is easy to use. Drives and handles well but you should use Premium gas not regular! The booklet states improved performance with premium fuel and it really makes a difference.. Great with 6yr/72M Wty standard!
