2015 Acura MDX consumer reviews

I had a CRV and quickly outgrew it, as I need a lot of cargo space and a large enough back seat to fit at least one car seat plus two additional passengers. MDX has all the features I wanted and the cargo and passenger space that I need!

I test drove this car a few times as I was looking to possibly purchase a used mid sized suv. The MDX had a decent car rating and i liked the third row seating. The only thing i did not care for is the two infotainment screens... one for navigation and the other for everything else... too busy.

I love this car. I own the sh -AWD with Technology package. It does everything well. It is quiet and comfortable. I can be fast when you want it to be. If you want an suv that can tow 5000 lbs and seats 7 there is no competition.

This is our second Acura. First was a 05 TL which had a great engine but the car was not quite. Rattles and squeaks as compared to my 03 camry which was so smooth. We've had it for just a week and i notice chirping sound from the engine. it is especially very noticeable at lower speed or when idle. Infotainment is very confusing. ride is smooth and quiet. We first thought about the Highlander but then my wife liked the way to mdx looked plus it has better cargo behind 3rd row. I think Acura's are just not as smooth and refined as lexus. Still no major complaints yet about this mdx. Can't give much updates yet on reliability on the mdx but our tl had minor electronics issues.

This car is indeed a great value for money. At the price point, this offers a great mix of performance, utility (optional 3rd row) and comfort. Being one of the few cars that hold their value so well in this category, I can see why people love MDX. Do watch out for the engine noise issue though. Apparently this doesn't give you a problem car, but you may want to walk away from the car when you hear it.

Fun to drive and feels like a luxury vehicle! I have always trusted Honda & Acura. Great reliability, quality, and built to last. I have only owned this car for 1 month, but have had a previous Acura Integra for 10 years and Honda minivans for 12 years. Looking forward to another decade of Acura!

The car is perfect for my Family needs, and it's very fuel efficient. I just love the roominess and it's quite cozy!

Really nice and a lot of value for the money. Third row and navigation. The tech package with awd is the only way to go..

Absolutely thrilled with the MDX. Very comfortable, very luxurious and great looking. Also saved a ton of money buying it used.

Acura's MDX tech package is great, my only complaint is that they text message reading systems only works on older versions of the iPhone.
