Great car overall, looks nice, drives great, lots features, great value. Just wish it had the same roomy cargo as previous gen.

Love this car!

This is the fourth Acura we have owned and is our favorite. We love it. Not only is it beautiful, it is comfortable and easy to drive, has plenty of cargo room, comfortable for people in the rear seat. Have not tried the third row yet.

Beautiful, luxurious, and even sporty.

Beautiful, luxurious, and even sporty. The transmission does seem to have a little trouble shifting, which can make the car sluggish.

My second MDX

This will be my forth Acura and I've been extremely satisfied with all of them. I started it in the year 2000 with a 2001 Sport Coupe with the 6 cyl engine and kept it for 17 trouble free years, only repair being the transmission recall to change out the factory transmission. At the dealership suggestion I replaced motor mounts while the transmission recall was being exercised. Would have traded it in on this a new TSX but all they'd offer was $750 on the trade-in. I sold it myself for $3,000. I also owned a 2004 MDX that I'd bought used in 2008. It was my daily driver and I liked it a lot but after 6 years the transmission started to occasionally drop out of gear. So I traded that MDX in on a new 2013 TSX for my wife. She loves it. It's been trouble free for 3 years and I doubt if she'll ever let it go. It's the perfect size for smaller women. At that time I still had the 2001 coupe for my daily driver. I felt the loss without my MDX and suffered that loss for 3 years. Finally, I bought my current 2015 MDX, 2 years old and lightly used, and have had it now for 3 months. I'm dealing with a recent problem where the hatch seems to open on it's own accord. It's only recently has it done that. Last night my neighbor called saying my hatch was open. OK, I'm getting old and had not paid attention. That's the forth time in about a month it's done that and I hadn't opened the rear hatch for anything that day. I've swapped key fobs to see if the #1 Driver Fob was triggering the hatch inadvertently. I'm waiting to see if that's the solution. Otherwise, I'd have given my 2015 MDX as a five star award. I came to this web site to see if any other MDX owners were having the hatch problem.

Great mix of luxury, tech, and practicality

Super comfortable, good performance and the some of the best technology for the money. I wish my year had the exposed exhaust, which is the only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for exterior styling. Got the Advance w/ Tech package. Kids love the widescreen entertainment and I love the ELS sound system! Perfect SUV for a family of 4 on the go.

Great car, unexceptional but solid and dependable

This is a fine vehicle. Coming from a Mercedes GLK, I needed a larger car. This does not drive quite as exceptionally as the MB, but is rock solid. Not one mechanical issue, just not as sophisticated. GPS and back up camera are definitely behind the curve and seem dated.
