Luxury SUV at its finest
Safety is second to none on this vehicle. After my 2016 MDX was totalled and I walked away without even a scratch I knew that I would be coming back to the Acura brand. I bought a used 2017 MDX and couldn't be happier. The ride is quiet and comfortable and the vehicle just screams look at me when it's parked.

Worth the price!
I have owned this vehicle for over 7 months and I have absolutely loved it! Every time I get in the vehicle, I am reminded that this is, by far, the most incredible vehicle. I have owned a variety of high-end, expensive, luxury vehicles. This is the favorite car I have owned! I have even told my friends I would be surprised if I don?t continue to purchase the Acura MDXs when I decide to get a new car int he future.

Acura goes downhill with 9 speed transmission
Traded a 2012 MDX for this 2017. Except for fuel mileage, the 2012 was a much better vehicle. The 17 just doesn't feel as solid or as well built as our previous MDX, I even brought it back to the dealer to check for loose nuts and bolts. Also, the 9 speed transmission is rough shifting in the low gears and should not be in a car that's supposed to be a luxury vehicle. I would not buy this vehicle for that reason alone.

This is our 2nd MDX we sold our other 2014 earlier this year and my wife missed it so much we traded our new truck in to buy this 2017 MDX . Great vehicle all around for most everything, great for road trips very comfortable.

Great car so far.
Purchased the car in October of 2017 and so far it's been a great ride. I traded in a domestic/US built, so called luxury version that was nothing but problems. SYNC-2 earns it's name of STINK as the vehicle was a nightmare from day 1. I was able to take advantage of year end pricing to make the switch. The car has a very similar feel to the last generation BMW X5's I drove from 2003 up to the 2013. My 1st 2003 X5 had a V8 with ~290 HP, was fairly loaded up and cost in the mid $50K range. The 2017 MDX has ~290HP, cost in low to mid $50's depending on the options and seems to ride better. The MDX has the same thick steering wheel, steering wheel controls seat controls/angle it can be set to all have a familiar feel to them as they are similar to the X5. The phone interface seems a bit quirky (2018 has Applecar play) however most of these things just take time and a learning curve. The fuel economy is something I am already really impressed with. Getting in the low 20's in city driving and high 20's on the highway. The car rides extremely nice! It was the first thing I and several family members noticed when they have been in it for a drive. I purchased the vehicle based on the advice of 2 different doctors who can drive anything they want and they both said these cars are really worth a look and are a great value. About the only thing I am still not totally fond of yet is the front grill, an all mesh with smaller logo or something less garish would be the feedback. If the mileage, reliability and comfort remain at the high level I have had so far, then I don't think I will care what the grill looks like as my ownership experience goes on.
