Brakes Squeal at 1900 miles

I have owned this car for less than 2 months and the brakes squeal like a 40yr old car. I called the first dealership and they said Acura knows about this issue and they do not have a fix or an estimated time for it. I then called Acura corporate and they asked me to contact another dealership. I contacted a second dealership (Hoffman Estates) and they scheduled an appointment with a loaner car. When I got there they did not have a loaner available (sorry is all I got) and then without looking at the car said it was a normal sound from the brakes. I have now called Acura corporate twice and a case manager is going to assist. This is the first Acura I have owned (previously owned Infiniti and Lexus along with other non-luxury cars) and this is a first with this type of poor response. A similar post with brakes I saw on this blog was from: New Design Issues by florida guy from Palm Beach, Florida on Wed Oct 24 2018

It's got the look, the power and the room!

Test drove the RDX and was very impressed on what it had to offer, the audio having 14 speakers sounded amazing! The RDX I did the test drive in had a great looking luggage rack, running boards, black on black... had a great mountain look if that's what you are looking for!

Awesome car and drive! Acura did it again!

Comfortable seats! They adjust 16 ways that make your pong drives the most comfortable ever. The car has power and a smooth ride. Im looking forward to some snow. I have the advanced model figure this is my retirement car so go all out. I plan on owning this new design RDX for years to come. Love that they all have panaramic sunroof.

Advance SH-AWD with 20" Diamond Cut Wheels

I've got the Advance trim SH-AWD with the diamond cut 20 Inch wheels. The stock wheels are meh. Love the styling, free revving engine, acceleration, quick shifting 10 speed transmission, great steering and handling. The adaptive shocks are great smoothing out long rides in comfort mode and firming up in sport and sport+ on the windy back roads for a fun ride. Interior is upscale with lots of room in the front and back seats. and good storage in the rear. After 3000 miles of driving, the only negatives I have found are the auto engine stop and navigation. It can get annoying, especially in traffic. You can bypass the auto engine stop, but it reverts to on at every start of the engine. The navigation has had some problems finding places and addresses, while Google and Apple maps have not. If you input an address and save it, you cannot add a name, which means you need to know what a saved address is, not good. I love the console and the touch pad and audio system. It's easy to use and makes for a safer drive. After a few tanks of gas, I saw the gas mileage increase. I am currently getting 27.8 mpg on the highway and about 25 mpg on mixed city and highway and 22 city.

Transmission is soooo jerky

This car is decent. Honestly expected a lot more since it's a luxury brand. I love the design inside and out but surprising the ride is very jerky at low speeds. Around 20 mph the transmission hesitates a lot and jerks you in your chair back and forth. It feels more rough than my 11 year old Honda Accord I replaced this car with. Also, the infotainment screen froze up completely when I was using the navigation. I couldn't back out of it to the home screen turn it off/on or use any of the controls on screen or on the steering wheel. Cars got some serious kinks to work out.

Happy overall but the dash rattles etc.

The noisy dash takes away from all the great features the vehicle has like style, comfort, size. engine/transmission performance. Dealer has had the car for almost a week and is unable to stop the rattle, vibration and clunking noise. Only on a really smooth road is it quiet. No such thing in Indiana. Other models the same as mine are noisy also. Especially the loaner I am driving while they tinker with my RDX.

Test drove after driving Infiniti QX-50.

Not bad looking, size is great inside, extremely comfortable napa leather seats with 16 way adjustability, heated & cooled, and 2 person memory settings. Responsive 10 speed Auto Trans really moves this car! Many features, 4 different packages, corners very flat and rides well over both highway and rough roads. Great storage. Learning curve necessary to learn GPS, touch pad, lack of a shifter, and the many safety features. This is my dream car - alas, above my $$$$$

Luxurious, high-tech, and sporty

This is my first Acura. I've had four Land Rovers and I find the new RDX is a great combination of luxury, high-tech features and sporty performance. I love driving it, and it is the perfect size for me. Interior is roomy and luxurious, great sound system, and very fun to drive. Great value for the money.

this is an amazing car at a great value!

I feel it has every option I need at this point in time and for what I will continue to need in the future: space, power, style and looks.
