i have had my 2000 acura 3.2 tl for a year it has 178,000 on it and it still drives like brand new and starts every time cold or hot it works i get power and comfort in one and i race with my car and still no troble at all i love my car and it has lots of room in it and in the trunk and it is a vary safe car and really reliabil i would not trade it or sell it at all and its really good on the road drives nice and soft and the engin is not load at all this car is the best

Acura TL is by far one of the best cars Acura has created. The style, performance and reliablilty will out perform any germany car in the market. I mean look it up yourself, you will not find too many MB that are on sale with over 150,000 miles, seriously because these MB that cost retail over $90K will never give you any reliablilty. I love my TL and I will drive it until my wheels fall off, and then maybe replace my wheels and drive it some more. 2000 TL is the best, do regular maint, and your grandson will be driving it 10 years from now with over 325,000 miles, serisouly. Don't buy German cars, they SUCK cause they don't last ever

I own two identical TL's ... 1999 & 2000 and both have out-performed each other in the past 10+ years and I'm really pleased with them. They virtually need no maintenance if you do the regular 30,000 services and that's all... One of my friend has over 300,000 miles on his TL and still going strong. You can drive worry-free long distances. aLso, the TL's have an exceptional pickup and they can beat anyone on the stop light. I would highly recommend anyone buying this car especially when the 105,000 major acura service has already been completed....

i have owned my 2000 TL for 2 1/2 years. It is a comfortable vehicle and responds very well to the road. the motor is very strong and quiet , but the transmission sucks. I replaced the first one at 179,000 mile. the second one went out at 195,000. Overall it is a great hwy car, but acura should be ashame for putting such a weak transmission in such a beautiful car.

I love the car except for the drink holders they don't really fit any cup so they all tip....... otherwise no complaints

one down fall to the car was the whole trans. fluke. i was fortunate enough to be under the mile mark where my tranny was replaced free of charge. but besides that i 100% love my car. i did make the necessary alterations like tinted windows, fog lights, better looking rims, cold air intake, etc. but i wouldn't trade it for any other car. well almost any other car.

My car has 114,000 miles and drives and sounds new. Very solid car. No rattles or excessive wear. Had transmission repaired as part of recall at about 100,000 miles. Expect to keep car to at least 150,000 miles. Not sure why anybody would by new.

This is a beautiful to look at auto. The transmission failed at 86000 miles. Was replaced under class action agreement. The second one failed in just a few hundred miles. Was replaced again and has been working OK for 2000 miles. The warantee on the replacement is only 12000 miles. Makes the car worthless to anyone who does their homework.

I have owned my 2000 3.2TL for 4 years now and love my car, in fact, I am procrastinating selling it even though with my new baby we are packed into it and we need more room. It has been perfectly reliable and a true joy to drive-strongly recommend this car!!
